Smooth base
Used these to make lazy Susan's as gifts for friends. Excellent construction.

Low profile and works great
Just what we were looking for to make a small lazy Susan. Unlike rollers that roll on your flat surface, this one does not. The inside ring rolls on ball bearings in the outer ring. Ingenious. Appears to be made of high quality stainless steel, though we have not owned it long enough to see if it rusts. There is a strong smell though, guessing it is from the grease applied to the ball bearings.

Very rough
Bearings are rough. It'll work but quality is poor. Returned and purchased a different listing which turned smoothly. Paid a little more as they were sold individually but totally worth it.

Really rough out of the box
The media could not be loaded. I go through a lot of these types of bearings and these are by far the roughest spinning out of the box (I purchased 12 of these (4 boxes) and every single one was rough). However, with that said, most of them seemed to loosen up pretty well after putting some heavy pressure on them and rotating them several times. But even AFTER getting them loosened up, they’re still not as smooth as the competitor I normally buy off Amazon. It definitely feels like they either don’t put enough grease in them, or that they’ve been sitting on a shelf so long the grease had all dried up.

Nice turntable hardware
I ordered this 3-pack of Hicarer Lazy Susan turntables for a specific purpose, although technically I only really needed one of them right away. I am planning on building an automatic turntable for Photogrammetry. I'm planning to control a stepper motor using a Raspberry PI Pico to control the speed and direction, and maybe even to automatically trigger my camera to snap the photos at specific intervals. These turntables are perfect for this purpose, as they are quite solid and spin with very little (if any) play, have a good weight capacity, and I can easily make a large ring gear on my CNC machine that will attach to the inner plate of the turntable and mate with the appropriately sized gear on the stepper motor that I'll probably 3-D print. Big plans, but what about the other two turntables? Well, I might keep one around for some future project that I haven't thought of yet, and I might use one for an actual Lazy Susan. I have a plastic one in my pantry for my vitamins, but it isn't very free-wheeling at all and often gets hung up when I try to spin it around. One made with one of these turntables would be a GREAT upgrade (probably over-kill, but anything worth doing is worth over-doing).

handy
Even though the Lazy Susan hardware is meant to be mounted to a board or type of plate, I'm still searching for that right piece. In the mean time I use a tray or large plate and place it directly on the hardware. Works great for appetizers when you are entertaining.
