Pulled stump out with no trouble
Used it with a 4,500 lb winch to pull out a small stump. Every pound of that winch was used when the stump was under tension and the motor was straining. Still the rope did not break and it's only rated for 3,520 lbs. Easy to work with as well. I used a bowline on a bight (never binds) and a timber hitch around the stump (never binds). I liked the rope so much I just bought a similar one from Amazon but upgraded to 1/2 inch, rated for 7,400 lbs. If you are using for stumps, I recommend cutting the 50 foot rope in half using the Weller RCT Rope Cutting Tip if you have that soldering gun, or just buying a similar dedicated hot knife rope cutter and cutting the rope on a block of wood.

a great piece of rope for the dough
a nice unit of rope for the money, I worried that the 3/8ths diameter was too small, but it turns out to be just right for a tie down rope.

Your safety is important, buy things you know are safe.
My intent was to use it for ascending and rappelling. Price was too good so I decided to test it in my yard and it works okay. Does appear to have a slicker sheath to it than the more expensive climbing ropes so use of a prusik didnt work the best in fact might be slightly dangerous. The ascender had no problem gripping the rope. Does not have the ratings on the rope so really not sure if it's officially rated or approved for what it claims. I wont be using it to do anything higher or dangerous that's for sure. I did decide to buy a much more expensive rope after this rope.

Static rope
The 50 ft climbing rope I recently purchased was a bit of a letdown as it turned out to be a static rope instead of a dynamic one, which I didn't initially realize. While static ropes have their uses in certain climbing scenarios, they lack the elasticity and stretch that dynamic ropes offer, making them less versatile for various climbing styles. I was disappointed because I had intended to use it for both sport climbing and rappelling, and without the dynamic properties, it's not suitable for those applications. That said, the static rope does have its merits. It's more durable and less likely to wear out quickly compared to dynamic ropes, making it a good choice for activities like caving, rescue operations, or as a backup rope in emergency situations. Its static nature can provide stability during ascending tasks as well. Nevertheless, during my mountaineering trip in British Columbia, the static nature of the rope handled the job.
