These spare canning racks are especially helpful to layer mason jars in your canner. I would not necessarily use them for the bottom of my canner, though. Quality is good and gets the job done. :)

A decent price fro an invaluable canning aid. These are far thinner than the klutzy old wooden grids, so you get more room in the pot. They are also immensely easier to clean. I bought a few just so I can always find one.

Excellent Quality and workmanship. However, note the description says it is compatible with the Presto All American Canner. It is compatible with the models that are wider than 12 inches. Unfortunately, I bought the Presto 17 Quart Digital Canner. I did not read the description correctly and now have two excellent racks that will not fit the canner I bought. Read the description before buying to be sure these racks will fit your canner.

These are very nice as far as pretty. They are not flimsy. They will hold up the jars; however, they are a tiny little bit smaller in diameter than my Presto Canner rack, and they do not have as much clearance from the bottom. so for clearance purposes, I am still using my Presto canning rack. I will just put one of these on top of it for a bottom rack, and then use the other for a single rack to separate two layers of jars. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't ditch my Presto canning rack since it discolored after my first few uses. Not a big thing, just don't like looking at it when I can. Oh well. If I had to do it over again, I would just buy another Presto canning rack and forget these. But since I already have these, I will use them.

Very easy to use

Great price and you get two! I have the Presto 23 quart pressure canner that only comes with one rack. This size fits well, washes easily, and takes almost no room to store. I've used one to do a double load of pint jars with no problem.

One of the best buys ever as I like to do more canning than normal. The quality of the rack is sturdy and strong. I can now can up to 10 jars in my pressure canner. It's rust resistance and easy to store!

Works great in my pressure cooker to separate jar layers. I have also used it in the pressure cooker to sterilize my mushroom bags. If your doing that, raise the bottom rack an inch or two of the bottom so it dosent burn and use the second one for the top of the bags to keep the plastic away from the vent hole. Works great every time.
