Works great for me in making gaskets using gasket material that is designed for use as a gasket.

This is a pretty good item for the price. You get a variety of sizes, and a cutting base. I used them to cut discs out of thick (1/4") finished leather. One of the reviews I read said to use a piece of scrap wood over the cutter to equalize the force of your hammer on the top of the cutter. This was very good advice. I could get 2-3 discs cut before the edge dulled, making it difficult. The cutting edge tuned up quickly with a couple passes on the internal and external sides of the cutter with a round crock stick. Not too long a delay, and back to business. If you plan on cutting a lot of pieces have a crock stick or steel handy to frequently tune up the cutting edge.

Really good quality tool, feels solid and precise. Packaging was neat and everything arrived in perfect condition. Not overly oiled, just right. The mini cutting mat included is also very useful. Overall, excellent set.

I recently built a swim platform for my boat and wanted to cover the fiberglass gel coat with one of those cushioned nonslip flooring materials. The problem is I have a number of fasteners protruding from the top of the platform which hold it to the brackets below. My choice was to just cover the fastener heads with the flooring which would make them inaccessible (and leave a void were the flooring could eventually lift) or cut them out. The better choice in my mind was to cut them out but how do you make a perfectly round hole in a cushioned flooring material so that it looks good? I had contemplated using various sized hole saws and gently trying to drill them out until I happened across these circle cutters. These things worked perfectly. I placed the flooring on a piece of plywood, traced the fastener locations on the flooring, and then proceeded to use the circle cutters to make the holes. To insure that I didn't damage the cutters I put a block of wood on the top of the cutter and struck it with a mallet. Besides protecting the cutter the block of wood distributed the mallet hit more equally across the cutter. All it took was a couple blows and I was left with a perfect hole. I had a couple people ask were I got this mat made for me and were shocked when I told them I made it myself and inquired how I could make such perfectly aligned holes.

Perfect for my application. Durable and sharp. I was able to cut a 2mm gasket for an intercooler pipe.

Will not cut the paper i was trying to cut. Not shape enough to cut anything much.Very unhappy with produce

The cutters work great , but the pad you put underneath your fabric didn’t last.
