Attic Fan
The cost of replacing a seemingly simple attic fan surprised me. At $148.00, it’s not pocket change. And if you factor in labor costs, it could easily run up to $300.00. That’s a significant investment for something that seems straightforward and easy to install. Overall Impression: Despite the challenges and costs, I appreciate having a functional attic fan. It’s essential for maintaining proper ventilation and keeping the house cool. Plus, it’s a small price to pay for comfort in the Florida heat. In summary, while the installation experience wasn’t ideal, the attic fan thermostat is a necessary component for home comfort. If you’re in a similar situation, consider the long-term benefits and weigh them against the initial expense. Simple to install and you don't need to be an electrician. Stay cool! 🌞🏠

Exhaust fan control
This unit has failed. Does not turn on or off on its own. Bet I got the one made on Friday afternoon or Monday morning by a grumpy Chinaman. NOT HAPPY!

thermostat temperature dial isn't true to the settings
The unit it's self is very nice and does work, but you have to play with the tempertature dial to get it right, so it will turn on and off at the right tempetature. Other than that, I would buy another one if I take on another project. This unit is so nice and easy to use.

Good product fair price.
Great product I install this to operate the gable vent fan in my garage and it worked flawlessly for A couple years and was still working great when I sold the house. Easy install too.

Doesn't shut off. Unless of course you whack it with your fist.
Seemed fine for a short while, but now to get the internal relay to shut off my ventilation fan, I have to give the unit a bump of my fist to disconnect. Even 30 degrees past setting. Worthless to me. And of course the time to return has past. It is not recommended. Read the reviews. They are stating the truth.

Install was a little uneven but a good product
I shorted one star because the knockouts for the romex connectors in the box were a bit problematic. The one for the hardwire option was about 1/32” too small which made trying to push in a 12/2 armored cable connector a real chore. The other knockout for the fan wires was cutout to take a threaded connector, not a push in like the instructions suggested which I had both, luckily. Otherwise, seems like a good design and the thermostat is accurate enough for my purposes.
