Fairly good
Unit is nice and short - the MX1 reticle suits me exceptionally well, even though the reticle lines are very thin. Monstrum has an LPVO (Banshee) that has the same reticle, but in that implementation the lines are thicker. Still, fairly happy with the MX1 the paralax adjustment. I would question whether it's really 4x, but suits my needs at 50 yards for rimfire. The adjustments are 1/2" @100yards (making them 1/4" at 50) and are VERY clicky and audible. Also there are directional arrows clearly stating the directional turn. Overall, better than say... OhHunt or some other such. Another thing is that the Eye relief is VERY generous - I'd say about 4.5-5" and when viewing it the viewfinder's wall thickness is fairly skinny, almost like a Leupold. So for those reasons, it's a keeper. And it comes with the rings too, which are very sturdy, probably about $15 value. But there's a problem with the rings - they are way too thick, and because of the limited spacing options, are too close to the adjustment knobs. Way too close, to the point that it's dificult to hold the windate adjustment knob at 9 and 3, same goes for the illumination knob. Instead, you have to do 12 and 6 hold. If that doesn't bother you much though (like me) then this one's a good buy

Perfect for a pistol caliber rifle
Mounted on a .357 lever action - 6+ inches of eye relief, low enough to not need a cheek pad, 4x power matches capability of the round. Flip up lens caps, appears to be very strongly built. Comes with everything needed for a rail or weaver mount. Looks like it can be removed and remounted without seriously disturbing the zero. If you're looking for a fixed power, 100-200 yard scope, this is the one.

Very clear amazing scope, stoked on the purchase!
Scope works great for my rifle, just very clear optics and seem very very solid with build quality.

NOT a Prism scope
People, stop saying it is something it is NOT!!! I checked with Monstrum and it is NOT a Prism scope.Stop saying it is a PRISM Scope!!!That being said, it seems way over priced for a 4X scope. The center dot on the MX1 reticle is 2 MOA or larger. The image shown would suggest it is smaller than 2 MOA, it is not. Not good.I wet back to my cheap Walmart Barska 3-9x32 scope and like it much more than this 4x30.NOT A PRISM SCOPE!!!There is one good thing, the eye relief is good, probably not 6" good, but good. With the correct rings it worked on my RS22. Would be okay for steel targets, just not good for 1" target at 50 yards.

Moa tics are wrong
Moa tics are 4 moa per tick not 1moa as advertised, return to zero is good scope is durable and clear holds zero on a 45-70 lever gun

Quality Optic with Great Field of View
For a price of under ninety bucks, this is a quality optic that would be perfect for rimfire or airguns. I have a similarly priced scope from Bushnell, and this one seems much nicer. I specifically ordered this scope for a Ruger American Rimfire 22LR bolt action rifle and am very pleased of the performance of this scope.Out of the box this scope is quite hefty at 15.5-ounces with the scope rings and lens caps. It’s only 6.5-inches long with a diameter of 1.5-inches at the objective lens. The covered adjustment turrets work well and have audible clicks for each 1/3 MOA adjustment. The dials and knobs are smooth without any grainy feeling. The glass is clear and the reticle sharp. Adjustments are easy to make, and the diopter focus works well and is not loose. The lens covers are easily removeable to utilize the focus and Adjustable Objective Control knobs but be careful not to misplace or lose them once removed. In addition to the comments above, these items just add to the value you are getting with this scope:- The eye-relief on this scope rivals those of higher end models. You can get a good sight picture anywhere from 4-5 inches, with 4.5-inches from the eyepiece being the best.- The 30mm objective lens allows a good amount of light to enter without any unnecessary weight or bulk.- Mounts to picatinny rails. It fit on my Ruger American without issue.- It’s an AO scope (Adjustable Objective) which lets you adjust the scope to have no parallax at the distance you are going to shoot. You adjust it by rotating a ring at the front of the scope.- Purports to be shockproof and waterproof (I have not tested this feature), although no specific IPX rating is provided.- Extra screws for the scope mount are provided, and the screw heads are Torx heads and not hex heads (I prefer the hex heads because all my other rings use that style, although I do recognize that Torx heads are more resistant to stripping).- When mounted, the scope rings are solid with no slop or play, and the fit, finish, and machining on them is excellent. This sight held zero throughout my testing on my bolt action rifle, and the large objective lens for its size allows for a very nice amount of light to enter the scope, so it works well in low light situations. The reticle is proprietary to Monstrum but easy to use and I like the dual colors you can choose for illuminating the center of the reticle. For the current price of under a hundred dollars, I think this is a great value.

Loose zero
I have some other monstrum scopes but this one just does not hold a tight zero even at 50 yards. 3 shot Groups vary about 4-5 inches. Shooting from a tight rest at that distance even on open sites a closer group is expected
