Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT Charge Controller 150V, 35A 12/24/36/48V

I am no solar expert, but I have a few MPPT controllers. Some built into other gizmos. This thing reacts so fast to light changes and legit extracts more energy from the panels. Is it magic? Am I crazy? The app is pretty sweet and the Bluetooth range exceeds my expectations. It's compact, high quality, and I really like it!

This 150/35 is my third Victron Smartsolar MPPT solar charge controller. They are great quality and function well no matter the configuration. This unit will be used to add more solar to our off grid cabin. We also use a 75/15 that is used in an ammo box with a 20Ah battery and multiple usb outlets, 12v sockets 2.5x5.5 barrel connectors etc. We also purchased a 100/20 which is used for maintaining car batteries, charging a 48V ebike, charging outdoor lighting batteries. The 150/35 and 100/20 can charge 12, 24, 36, 48 volt batteries if your solar array has the correct voltage to do so. These need 5v above battery voltage to start charging and 1-2volts above battery voltage to continue charging. Never exceed the voltage limit and remember that voltage goes up when your solar panels get cold, so account for this when setting up your system. The Victron Connect app is great and works through bluetooth. You are able to adjust all charging parameters in the app through your phone with a nice and logical app. Victron release updates fairly frequently and they are always an improvement, I have never regretted an update like one might with a computer or cell phone. Another positive to this is that the updates are stores in the app, so you can take your phone to a place where you have a comtroller needing an udate and successfully update it with no cell service. Top quailty product with great features. I will purchase more in the future.

wanted to use the CC for a while before I made a review. Never have had problems with Victron and happy this unit. Not used the BlueTooth yet but it is doing a great job for me with 4x 36v panels and lead acid batteries

Quality stuff, price is high, but I will buy it again.

Excellent MPPT charger for my 48v LFP battery bank. Outstanding hardware quality and app design. Cost isn't an issue after seeing this thing in action.

I purchased two Victron 150/35 controllers. One was new but other was apparently a resale. Deciphered when setting up. Last buyer had created a network named "Mysmartnetwork" and another named "RV". Additionally, this unit will automatically select in its configuration, the voltage of the battery to which it is connected to the first time it is connected. I have a 48 volt battery. This unit was configured and set to 12 volts. Another clue that this was used. The average user might not pick these things up I'm NOT an average user. There were also some physical scuffs. Item works but selling a used item as new is poor business practice when not telling the customer. Would appreciate a partial credit on the one controller as it was obviously "used" but sold as new. Ordered three other times from company. All OK. I'll give an updated review on Amazon after the company replied.

Had others mppt's. There's no comparison to Victron. It's going to get more power. Not sure how it does it. But it's going to magically get a lot more power than other controllers. A serious substantial amount.
