Changed my lightbulbs inside my guest room, bedroom and closet. It’s bright and I don’t see any difference between regular bulb and Jacksonlux bulb. Great for emergency.

These bulbs last about 5 hours and will give enough light to get around without a flashlight. I love them. I can carry them around in my hand, and they will light up with just a touch of my wet fingers on the contacts (you can also use the little attachment with the hook if you want). But, it's always fun to freak people out by holding a lightbulb in your hand and lighting it up with no attachment. We got two of these, and I'm buying more for friends and neighbors since we have regular blackouts in this area.

I have an anxiety disorder and one of the worst things that can happen to me is to lose power at nighttime. Because natural gas is not available in my area I am unable to have a generator; also a senior so no gas-powered generator either.For the past 30 years I've tried everything from a candle to lanterns. But nothing has truly helped ease the anxiety--until last Friday when I used one of these bulbs for the first time.I'd charged the bulbs and when the power went out I just screwed one into the lamp light socket and voila, I had light that made me feel comfortable and took the major pit of anxiety out of my stomach.These bulbs are wonderful--a real game changer for me and I am so thankful!

Indicator Light explanation:-Charge the bulb with indicator, turn on the bulb, then switch off and turn on fast, the bulb will charge with indicator.-1.A low glow red light will appear in the bulb indicating it is charging. -2.Leave the lamp or fixture ON to charge.

These bulbs work great especially for emergency power outages. I had purchased similar bulbs awhile back but they never held much of a charge. These hold a longer charge and work as they should!

I keep these charged and attached to the separate on/off switch at all times and in strategic places around the house. They light a room much better than trying to use a flashlight. Great invention.
