First off I must confess that I know nothing about instruments or tuning them. I got this for a mate who plays guitar and who had said that is last guitar tuner had died so I thought this would be a great gift idea. I'd looked through a few various tuners on Anson but this one stuck out. Other turner's is seen had to be stood up on a table but this one but only clips on to the instrument, but you can angle the screen in any direction which means its alot more comfortable and easier to use whilst tuning... Or so my friend says. The screen is colourful and there seems to be a few various settings and some sort of audible time so you can choose a beat/rhythm to play to. Apparently it's fairly easy to use and send to be accurate. You get a charging lead, instruction manual which I think with this sort of gizmo you'd need one to get started. One of the great points about this specific tuner is that it comes with a 2 year warranty which is so impressive for something that's only £16.

I love this tuner, I have owned several over the many years I have been playing guitar and most either break or simply do not tune the guitar accurately! - not this one, it is so simple to use and I tuned mine in minutes, there's also an added bonus of 5 extra plectrums which I thought was a nice touch!To use this simply attach it to the top of your guitar, (the tuner attaches to a clip via a very strong magnet so no fear of it coming off) switch it on and you're good to go, it's also rechargeable by a USB cable which is supplied so no batteries to ever worry about (another nice feature in my book)All in all i'm more than happy with this tuner, excellent quality for the price, works very well, well designed and manufactured and brilliantly accurate tuning, hence the 5 stars *****
