After reading reviews for different brands of these external cd drives I was expecting to have some sort of issue with getting it to work or charging or being slow to load to the laptop. I chose this brand because it had good reviews and it fully lives up to that. It connected with no trouble, uploaded to my laptop quickly and it comes with an extra charging cable and multiple ways to connect. I loaded a cd from disk and pictures from an SD card and both worked great. Great price and arrived quickly.

After buying the drive from Roofull I wasted a weekend trying to convert old movies and working with their support via email. 40 tries and 4 worked completely. Tried all they suggested. It never got better. At local office supply stores I had some failures too. Thought I'd lost all my precious movies. I read a review of this drive and saw it had error correction and took a chance. It was a good idea! It works great! Only one disk didn't complete out of 40. Seems faster too. Very pleased! Thanks!

Since my newest laptop computer didn't come with a DVD slot, I was looking for a new laptop that had one. They were quite expensive. Then I found this external DVD player. It connects to your laptop and doesn't cost nearly as much a new laptop. I have a DVD player, but it doesn't always work right. My grandchildren love to watch movies when they come to visit so I wanted something reliable. So far, this works well.

It works but a little hard to learn at first.

Got this to play dvds on my desktop that doesn't have space in the tower for a drive and it works great. I've used it a few times a week for the last few weeks and I have not experienced any issues.

I like the design and it was easy to set up. All of the ports except the SD card reader work fine. Plug in an SD card and it shows an error and won't read the card. Not sure if it is the reader, the card, or a combination. Other than that, no issues.
