Easily hidden if you are a reader.
This will not deter someone with a crowbar, sturdy knife or a hammer but if you are a reader and this nestles betwixt many other volumes then I suspect few will notice your "in house mini safe". I am pleased with the product and would recommend it.

subtlety perfected.
hidden safe, do not tell anyone you bought it, shove it with other books, as hidden as it gets. Personal advice thouigh, if you are storing noisy things (jewellery, coins and the like) put foam in the bottom sides and top to muffle that as when someone (some low life) moves it they will get no hint to give the game away.

Book doesn't properly close, so might be easy to break into BUT blends in well in bookshelf

Fit for purpose safe
This is a good discreet book safe. The corner was dented a bit not sure why! The compartment is big enough to put your passport and folded documents and money or jewelry if needed.

Exactly what I expected, we have however put a sleeve from another book on it to disguise it even more.

Expensive but Maybe worth it ?
I think that the colour of the book isn't as the picture shows its a bit more purplish, and the size of the "book" is much larger than a standard dictionary.My main goal for this product was for it to be discreet and able to blend in well with my other books, I don't think it has achieved that purpose. And for the price it's not worth it.

Useful locked book/box
Useful locked book/box. Only disadvantage is that the top which imitates the top of the pages of a book looks too white and artificial. It would be possible and necessary to darken this part with powdered lead from a pencil. The lock on the container is good. This sort of device, of course, is not really a place for anything very valuable because it could be easily carried away and broken into later.

It's okay.
I bought this as a present and it's still cellophane wrapped so I can't leave a review for its usage but I was disappointed that it wasn't as bright red as the picture implies; it's more of a maroon. It's still red and I paid much less than the current price (it was on offer) so I can't complain but disappointing nonetheless. I've included a photo of it next to something brighter red.
