Really like these baskets. No more bags sitting around with fruit. Nice looking and keeps out gnats, too. It also seems to keep fruit from rotting.

A useful idea for countertop fruit and picnic foods. Large enough to fit two loaves of sliced bread. Dome shaped lid gives lots of extra room. Keeps the flies off the food. Even works on keeping cockroaches out, to an extent. Might deter some ants, but small bugs will find a way as this is just mesh (holes) and it's two halves that just set on top of each other. The halves don't snap or lock down, so determined bugs that crawl in between the top and bottom can find a way if given some time. I see this working better to deter flies and locusts and grasshoppers and maybe caterpillars that fall from trees at a picnic.I think the only missed opportunity for quality here is the ring on the top is cheap thin plastic instead of metal. The rest of the product is well made and durable. A great idea. Set of two (2).

I don't think it's necessarily meant to hold fruit. I bought it because I have little mice in my house. I use it to hold snacks and keep little mice from biting my treats. Then I can use it to wash dishes. Very easy to use, the plates can be sanded off. Or I cover the rest of my meal with flies or mice etc.

These are great mesh baskets for keeping fruits and vegetables out on the counter and also keep airflow around the fruits and vegetables.We tend to keep bananas, apples, tomatoes, things like that out on our counter. Sometimes we will use colanders to keep them so that the air will circulate around them and so they don't rot too quickly.So, these mesh baskets are nice in that regard because they seem like they will have better airflow than colanders. The mesh is really more like screening. It's fine enough to keep houseflies off of anything but it's not so fine that it will work for fruit flies, which is often the biggest problem with some of the fruits.The mesh is all coated so if anything does happen it seems like it will rinse off well.They are well-sized. They will work well on the counter but won't be too big. Just about the right size for a fruit bowl.The other thing I plan on using these for is to cover cheeses and other food when we go outside and sit on the deck to keep the flies and bees off. So, that is an added benefit.I would definitely recommend these and I think they are a good value.

We love to cook out whenever we can, but not eat outside. Cook on the grill, but eat in the house or the screened in deck.We have a nice patio table with an umbrella, but living in the woods, every fly and their cousins show up if we have any kind of food out there.These wire mesh bowls are the answer. Keeping the flies away, opens up a whole new world of enjoying meals wherever on our land we want to place the table and chairs.They arrived in good shape, and were actually bigger than I pictured.You can place fruit in them, using them together. Or you can place food out in 4 plates or bowls and use all tops and bottoms as covers.The only thing holding back that extra star is that the mesh is not small enough to keep out those pesky gnats and fruit flies.However the mesh that is used, feels very strong and should last quite awhile.Price is good for the quality.Recommend with knowledge of expectations.

They're a pretty good product, they do their job against flies and discourage Fruit flies, but small gnats still occasionally get through. Really good for washing salads and fruit before eating it, and it can be used to rinse larger varieties of rice and other grains.They aren't as well supported as I'd like, picking up a full bowl of fruit can slightly deform the mesh. It's not bad though, just pick it up from both sides or the bottom.

Why didn’t I find this sooner? This set of fruit baskets with lid is exactly what I have been looking for. I like to eat various kinds of fruit and sometimes I don’t get to all of it before it starts to ripen too much. This basket with lids help keep the flies and other critters out of the fruit before I can get to it. This is especially useful during the warmer months, when fruit flies spread like wildfires.

Two things would have made it a solid 5 stars, a solid bottom and a larger flatter design so the fruit and veg aren't piled up so much. We usually have bananas, apple, tomato, pears, and this keeps them all bug free while allowing air to circulate.

Very light and made of metal. These are really useful. I keep bananas in one and all other fruit in the other. They are made of mesh and keep flies off the fruit , each bowl ( you get two with lids) is deep and spacious. Each has a lid which fit quite snuggly. I also use them to cover my food such as salads and cold dishes. Well worth the money.

Das Produkt sieht gut aus, ist gut verarbeitet und stabil. Der Deckel schließt dicht und fest ab. Leider sind die Maschen recht grob, so dass Fruchtfliegen und kleinere Insekten problemlos hindurch passen und sich mit Freude im Korb versammeln. Für uns somit leider ungeeignet.

Ces deux corbeilles peuvent contenir pas mal de fruits et ferment bien pour protéger des insectes et elles sont solides mais le fond est également grillagé donc je mets une assiette, je recommande.

Der Obstkorb gefällt und sowohl optisch als auch von der Verarbeitung her. Er ist sehr stabil. In der Beschreibung steht Stückzahl 1, bei uns wurden in einem Karton jedoch 2 Stück geliefert. Ich hatte in der Vergangenheit bereits einige Körbe mit Abdeckung, die jedoch schnell brüchig wurden. Dies sollte mit diesem Korb nicht passieren. Ich kann ihn sehr empfehlen!
