So far very sturdy. The quick release base has to be firmly be attached. make sure is extra tight. I just tried it with my Crane 3s and my pocket 4k with a vmount battery and monito and it works great so far. I am using it with the REady Rig too and its a good size for it.

My little Weebill S cannot handle a very heavy payload, so I bought this out of necessity to be able to attach peripherals like an external monitor, HDMI transmitter and remote focus pulling power. It's made from sturdy aluminum and easy to assemble. The case is also pretty great and can even fit my gimbal and gimbal accessories so everything is one place (likely won't fit larger gimbals well).Beyond support for all the bells and whistles, the ergonomics and build quality of this grip ring are terrific! The value for being slightly over $100 is huge.Footage almost looks like it's from a steadicam or dolly rig. It's also very easy to detach the gimbal for when you need to get shots in cramped spaces.I can't recommend this enough if you're looking to upgrade your gimbal game. I keep this on standby for tracking shots and other b-roll work

Nice ring mount, easy to assemble. You will need a small rig or compatible power base plate for your Ronin gimbal or gimbal of choice, a V mount battery and a V mount battery mount/ring attachment with power cables. You will also need various attachments for your monitor as cold shoe attachments, mics etc. This is a bare bones ring with feet. It is light weight, but with all the attachments, it will get heavy. You might want to consider buying a flycam flow line support system. Also, you have to practice with this. There is no hand grip option to record while holding the ring gimbal. The Flycam can help solve the problem of picking up after pressing record and setting down to stop recording.

First one came in brand new. Looked amazing. Build quality was great. However, the threading on the base was flawed and didn’t allow the lock screw in for the mounting plate. Replacement came stamped with tons of oil fingerprints and scratches even over the logo on the base. ProAim contacted me directly and resolved the issue and sent me a new one.

The media could not be loaded. Wasn’t sure it’d work on the crane 4 since I couldn’t find any reviews, but man it works good! Just make sure everything is nice and tight and you’re set for the shoot!
