Champagne Taste on a Spiked Seltzer Budget? Buy This Office Chair!
This office chair is a great alternative to those that cost hundreds more, even in the pre-owned/secondhand marketplace. The value for the price paid is great because of its build quality, ease of use, good ergonomics, and overall aesthetic.I spent a good amount of time weighing my options of a used Herman Miller or this and I'm so glad I chose the SIHOO. It's nice to have something new of your own and to get a good deal on something. The ability to customize arm height and angle, headrest support, and seat height for a reasonable price were all important factors in the decision. Materials were too, and the webbing on this chair is very durable. The lumbar support is also a huge benefit. The tilt range is also very generous. Assembly took me 40 minutes, but I was half watching a preseason football game at the time. With proper focus, I think 30-35 minutes is reasonable. The chair was very well packed, with strong cardboard inserts, plastic wrapping, and extra hardware just in case. The required tools are provided and the gloves were a nice touch (they can be used for the gas lift; I didn't need them). One recommended upgrade: rollerblade wheels. They make the chair perform at its best, especially on a glass mat.Ultimately, this chair took my work from home setup from a solid B to an A.

After spending countless hours at my desk, I finally found the perfect companion for my workday - the SIHOO Doro C300 Ergonomic Office Chair. It’s not just a chair; it’s a game-changer. From the moment I sat down, the difference was clear. The ultra-soft 3D armrests cradle my arms like a gentle cloud, reducing fatigue during those long coding sessions. Whether I’m leaning back to contemplate a problem or sitting up to focus, the chair moves with me, offering consistent support. The robust construction assures me that it’s a lasting investment. Plus, the easy assembly meant I went from unboxing to relaxing in no time.In my extensive experience with office chairs, the SIHOO Doro C300 stands out for its dedication to comfort, ergonomics, and quality. Excellent Quality and Ergonomic Support
When this product arrived in the box, I was very surprised at just how heavy it was, which speaks volumes for how well designed and constructed the office chair is. The assembly process was very simple and went without a hitch. It required one tool that was provided and the instructions were clear and laid out well. My wife has been suffering from neck pain due to long periods of time at her computer. This new office chair has given her the necessary support through the many ergo adjustments it has available. Over the past couple of weeks she has noticed a profound improvement as a result of the use of this chair. I would highly recommend it for anyone who is concerned about having an ergo friendly workspace.

Good Chair, but Disappointed by Misleading Overseas Version
I like this chair, but I’m disappointed by SIHOO’s misleading marketing approach. My friends and I have used SIHOO chairs in China for years, trusting them for cost-effectiveness and quality. When we come to US, we naturally choose SIHOO again. To my surprise, the overseas C300 model severely compromises the brand’s value. Before buying, we noticed that overseas versions (like the S100 and C300) lack a footrest found in the Chinese versions, but we didn’t know why. Once I received the C300, I still found it comfortable and well-built. However, after reading more on Chinese review videos, I realized the overseas C300 is essentially a downgraded product that conflicts with the SIHOO Doro series’ original concept.Key differences:1. The original version uses a gravity-sensitive tilt mechanism with wire controls, while the overseas version uses simpler pole controls.2. The original has a seat-depth adjustment feature, but the overseas version does not.3. The tilt angle advertised in Chinese official website is 95°–145°, while the English site states 92°–112°, and 110°–130° on Amazon. This discrepancy suggests an inferior tilt mechanism.4. The base is downgraded from a single integrated unit to five separate pieces. In China, the original costs about $220–$250 with free on-site installation — a product more comparable to the $400 overseas C300 Pro (2024.12.8), which offers flip-up armrests and adjustable seat depth, though it remains inferior to the original C300 in terms of tilt mechanism and base. Why did I keep digging reviews after receiving a decent chair? Because the manual doesn't include Chinese, even though it provides English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Arabic! I feel misled by the identical product name. Although regional differences are understandable, the abundance of information on Chinese Internet set my expectations too high. If I had known the overseas C300 was so different, I would have chosen the C300 Pro instead. When considering only the overseas versions, I can hardly recommend SIHOO chairs to my friends because, despite also being made in China, I have no idea where the overseas versions' factory is, what the cost and workmanship are like, so I can't judge the cost-effectiveness. In terms of C300 quality alone, I am 5'6" tall and weigh 155 pounds, and the size of this chair suits me well, with good attention to detail in workmanship.Update on 2024 Dec 28:According to information from the Sihoo customer service team, the C300 model in the US is actually the C100 in China (and it seems to be the C100 Gen 1 instead of Gen 2). And they said they will make certain improvements to some issues mentioned above. In view of the long long email conversations, I believe Sihoo's customer service department treated with their products with care, so I changed the rating.
