I was able to give my dog this powder by mixing it with different foods, such as yogurt, gravy, soup,wet dog food, etc. Was very easy to administer this item that was recommended by his vet.

I do like like the taste of this but that shows it's the real powder. I found I can mix it into protein drink or flavored yogurt but it still adds an acidic, bitter taste.

I have ordered rutin from other suppliers that list 95% purity with a 3rd party lab tests to certify. This product looks nothing like that one, or any other acceptable rutin powder.The color is way off. Purified extracts of rutin powder is normally yellow, so much so that it stains clothing easily. This product is a very pale yellow/green. From my observation, this appears to be a very impure and low quality extract. I will pour this product down the toilet and stick with formulations that have proof that it is high quality.

This product is not rutin, but is rather most likely flowers or flower buds of Styphnolobium japonicum, which contain 8 to >20% rutin depending upon the harvest time, as well as other compounds. Since it is not labeled correctly, its not clear what it is.Don't feel bad, most other "Rutin" products sold on Amazon are also mislabeled.
