I have a vacuum pump setup for pressing veneer in a bag. My old vacuum gauge, which was oil filled, leaked and stopped working. This one is not oil filled so I was concerned if it would work okay. It does. The needle doesn't jump around so it's easy to read the level of vacuum.And the price was very reasonable.

Correct size is fundamental
Giving a 4 rating as the product appeared to be high quality. However, I found the fitting measurement to be 1/2" not the 1/4" marked on the package so I returned it unused.

Worked well for our pool pump
Easy replacement for broken pool pump pressure gauge. Just be sure to use Teflon tape on the threads
