We've used this set in the preschool class of our nursery (3 and 4 year olds) and used it as the basis for some further experiments around volumes and reactions.The kids were so taken with it and it definitely caught their attention so I'd recommend this science kit either to have at home or a gift or to use in an early years educational setting. Fab quality again as we've come to expect with this brand too.

Lovely set for pouring and suctioning with the pipette, however, for the price, I think a few vials of colouring could have been added to be able to do some of the experiments laid out in the booklet….especially given the picture on the box!My 4 & 1 year old spent a good 10 mins with it though, so can’t complain too much! But when 4 year old saw the box, he then got excited about doing “changing colours”, which I had to disappoint him as we have none in the cupboard and they weren’t included

My daughters loved this science kit, and introduced the word "experiments" to my 4-year old daughter's vocabulary.Inside is a set of child-friendly science equipment (three large plastic test tubes, a 250ml beaker, a spoon, a child-friendly pipette, two test-tube stoppers, a funnel, three coloured lenses and a plastic base to hold it all). Also included is a booklet which outlines a series of experiments that you can try. These range from creating a baking soda volcano to making coloured "rain" in the test tubes.My children were a little too young to run the experiments themselves, so I happily stepped in to guide them through it. Note, that you will need to supply the consumable materials (generally household items that you have a good chance of having in your home, such as different food colourings, shaving foam, baking soda, vinegar, milk etc). The experiments are repeatable, and my daughters loved experimenting to get reactions. Even the neighbours kids watched over the fence in amazement.This is a fun introduction into simple to do science experiments and reactions that young children will enjoy whilst they're learning at the same time.

This is a great idea and the items are well made and attractively coloured but so much extra stuff is needed that it makes it quite a lot more expensive than it is to make it worth having. Some of the items that are needed I wouldn't like young children to have access to, regardless of it being used under adult supervision. I don't really recommend it.

Write your reviewAnother educational and fun product from learning resources brand also great quality items inside and lovely presentation in a colorful cardboard box very attractive to any child.everything you need for the experiments is inside like a dropper,a funnel, a stirrer ,3 test tubes with lids ,one flask and 3 rainbow shape colour lenses and of course a booklet with strp by step instructions ,the experiments are simple and fun also great experience for kids and for adults too. totally recommended !!

This is a home science tool kit, this set provides the tools for the reactions. Everyday household items found in the home to be able conduct experiments. This great set for young school aged children. The guidance provides step by step instructions to follow. All experiments are children safe. Good quality and can be reused over and over again.

Great set of science equipment for little ones. My toddler enjoys doing all the experiments with us and it’s a great way to teach in a fun way. Everything is really high quality as you expect from this well known brand but it does not include any of the ingredients. This created some disappointment with us as I had to postpone using it until we went to the shop.

Esta compra es una de las mejores que he hecho, los niños pueden centrarse en jugar con agua pero con todos los elementos que necesitan justo ahí, pueden añadir más cosas pero sin necesidad de usar todos los trastes de cocina etc, les entretiene mucho es resistente, de buen tamaño, y muy atractivo a la vista. Solo no trae colorantes para el agua por qué veo que muchos se quejan de eso pero en mi caso ya tenía, mi hijo juega diario con él y le sigue divirtiendo.

Das Set sieht aufgebaut richtig süß aus und ist toll durchdacht. Die Reagenzgläser stehen fest in der Halterung, die Pipette funktioniert einwandfrei, Trichter und Messbecher haben eine tolle Größe, die Stöpsel halten dicht. Highlight sind auf jeden Fall die Teile des Regenbogens, die sich übereinander legen lassen. So kann man schon mal raten, was beim Mischen herauskommen wird.Die Anleitung ist bebildert und englischsprachig. Am Ende ist eine deutsche Zusammenfassung. Wer sich noch etwas an seine Schulzeit erinnern kann, ist aber auch so in der Lage Lila, Orange und Grün zu mischen.Meine Tochter wird 4 und ist völlig begeistert. Wir haben mit einfachen Schüttübungen angefangen und die Pipette kennen gelernt. Dann haben wir uns das Mischen von Farben vorgenommen und mit Taschentüchern die Farben aufgesaugt und in der Mitte schon gemischt. Als nächstes machen wir den Regenbogen aus der Anleitung und das Blumenexperiment. Die schlechten Bewertungen wegen der fehlenden Farbe kann ich nicht verstehen, weil es ja auch so in der Artikelbeschreibung steht. Wir haben ein Set mit Lebensmittelfarbe zuhause und auch einen einfachen Malkasten. Irgendwas zum Färben des Wassers wird man mit Kindern schon zuhause haben und sonst eben bestellen. Anschließend lässt sich alles einfach abwaschen.Für zuhause der perfekte Aufbau für Farbexperimente, wir sind total begeistert und zufrieden.
