Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye Kit

Brilliant kit. Has everything you need, from a table cover, gloves (many pairs), loads of elastic bands, and dyes. Great selection of colours. The dyes look very vibrant on application but do fade a bit on rinsing but we were still thrilled with the results.

this product was easy to use and the dye went so far we did loads of items and still have tons of dye left would certainly recommend !!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this set last year and can report that after nearly a year of repeated wearing and washing, the colours are almost as bright as when first dyed! Make sure you follow the instructions and use 100% cotton. We got at least ten child tees out of this and there are a few bottles left, so I'd say it could probably do at least another 2 or 3. We hand washed the first few times in case of dye bleed, and now just chuck them in a coloured wash at 40.

I’d give 4.5/5 if I could because this is a great value kit! The only reason I’m not giving 5* is because the packaging and instructions imply that you’re going to get vibrant colours on your finished pieces and I found that not to be the case. I’m really very pleased with the results but once dry, the colours do fade. It has however made me want to do more tie dye so I’ll be buying some Procion MX dyes to try next (these are the professional ones apparently). I made 4 tops so far out of this tulip kit and have plenty of colours left. I wish it had a greater range of yellows as I love the yellow I did use, but that went in one go! Anyway, had great fun and for a crafting family, this is a truly great kit 👍

Great product and excellent value for money! You get so much dye in here! Easy to follow instructions, gloves and rubber bands to create your designs. My daughter loves it!

This kit was great! Be careful with the dye because it will get everywhere. Definitely use the gloves or your hands will stain. If it gets on countertops, dish soap and water worked for me as long as I cleaned it quickly. We did dry dyeing and it turned out really well. If the shirt is wet when you apply the dye, it creates more of a blended, bleeding look. The bottles sizes were decent as well and they were easy to mix the dye. My daughter needed shirts for school, so we got them done quickly. We dyed them around 7 pm and started washing them the next morning. Make sure to rinse them first before putting them in the washer. Rinse from cold to hot until the water runs clear, then wash on cold and dry lightly. I ended up hanging them while they were still slightly damp. There were a lot of color options and everything you needed to get started. I liked that it included a table cover and extra gloves. Make sure to read all the directions and just have fun with it. We made three shirts and they all turned out great. It was a fun project that my daughter and I really enjoyed. I recommend having a few extra shirts on hand in case the designs don’t turn out how you expect since tie-dye can be unpredictable. Lastly the case is a nice added bonus, it is great to store all the extra items when you have completed the project.

We used this kit as a birthday party activity for 8 year olds. I was impressed with how easy to use and the quality of ink colours (usually fade after washing, but these held true to bright colours) I prepped the shirts with provided elastics and the kids did the colours. (I had the water added to the bottles before the party) where we just had to do to the fun part at the party! Shirts were placed in plastic bags for 48 hours and then washed. We did 7 shirts , and had plenty of inks left over. Definitely will purchase again! You will want a good table over (maybe a couple of layers lol) the kit came with elastics and gloves, but we had to use extra gloves as not enough for everyone. We used gilden white t shirts to dye

wir haben das als Party-Action beim 8. Geburtstag unserer Tochter gemacht - es hat alles tadellos funktioniert, die Shirts sind sehr schön geworden, die Mädels waren begeistert. Ich würde allerdngs noch Kinderhandschuhe dazu empfehlen und Einweg-Plastikschürzen.
