Nice Shovel however, the weight and balance is a bit difficult when throwing the snow.The shovel does not have a good balance handle, that looks like a sideways U it’s just a straight handle with a softer sponge holder at the top.It just very heavy and when lifting the snow, so it falls off if not complete balanced equally. However, I did purchase the largest size shovel so maybe the smaller one is easier to use to lift and toss the snow. It just I have been doing this for 40+ years and never had such difficulty with lift and tossing of snow before. It does scrape the ground clear of all snow so it’s an A+ on that end, but I would suggest not purchasing the largest size shovel.Sorry :-( about my thoughts it’s just I wanted to be truthful to others.

I have not used it yet so I cannot speak to performance or long term durability, but it is solidly build and seems rugged enough. It is not for the faint of heart as it is fairly heavy which was to be expected due to its size and the fact that it is steel. It was easily assembled which was a plus.

I did read the the reviews that stated that it was bit heavy and it is. But it is built for my needs for Colorado Snow!!!

I used this the other day for the first time. It works very well and is extremely sturdy. My only issue is the weight. I have had other metal shovels that were 30 inch wide and they were not nearly as heavy.

Durable and strong but super heavy, and the scoop isn't that long to do long pushes

Got this for my husband. We get a lot of snow and this year, more ice than usual. He love the “heavy” feel of the shovel. It is not difficult with normal weight snow. But it easier to push if the snow heavy with water. I would recommend this product if you want something that will last long than a plastic shovel.

This is an alright shovel. However, I'm worried about possible future cracking of the shaft. Also, the body is almost too heavy. It would cut downwards a bit too much when moving forward over uneven parts of the driveway surface.Improvent Made: I used some TrimLok 1/16" edge trim for car doors and attached it to the blade of the shovel (see pictures). It glides along much easier now!

I bought this for my parents. My dad loves it. He says it’s a little heavier, being that it’s pretty solid metal, but super great for removing ice and snow.
