Sharp. Only thing I dont like is my wife says they are hand wash only. Id rather use a butter knife that way it can go in the washer.

Just got this set hours ago. Inspected thoroughly. Knives look high quality and all feel comfortable, Very sharp, and look good. Was also impressed by the spring loaded scissors comfort and design, until cycling them 20 or 30 times. See photos, now when you close them they have to be pryed apart. Inside corners/edges scraping against each other carved grooves on the inside of the blades. I have contacted the seller and am willing to keep the set, but would need a replacement set of scissors that work. The scissors actually worked great the first few cycles. I would suggest a small and thin stainless steel washer to separate the blades. Not cutting crepe paper with these so the tolerance between the blades can be slightly increased.Update 1/14. Used a fine emory board to remove the burrs and placed a couple drops of cooking oil in the pivot and worked them. Aside from the scratches, they now work perfectly. Have cycled them at least 200 times. I think maybe just made a little too tight. For the money, I think this is a great buy

The quality of the knives are great. They all came out the box sharp and clean, glad I got them on a sale. Fit my hands nicely without slipping or turning. The look of the knives are perfect for my style.Only bad thing about this order was the Santuko blade has a pretty bad chip in it. For the price would expect no chips in them
