I recently replaced my Xbox series X - left analogue stick Y-axis potentiometer sensor with one of these from Amazon. You do need patience and some soldering skills, as well as a number of good tools but the job was done and the controller tested as near perfect. No drift and all working as it should. Well worth a try if you have the confidence as the cost is a fraction of a new controller.

These are a must if you have the tools and want to correct stick drift cheaply. They work great as a replacement for xbox series controllers.

The first one I fitted into an Xbox controller to overcome stick drift did not work properly. A second fitment worked well for about 2 months before stick drift happened again. A third fitment worked well, I shall see how long this lasts before the carbon slide resistance wears out.

Perfect replacement for stick drift on PS5 controller Watched a YouTube video for replacement stick drift, this procedure took about 10-15 mins, longer if you intend to replace and solder the full part, what I did was open carefully the housing and replaced this brake disc looking part, no stock drift, works as new. Nice quality, large pack so will last me a while, well worth it
