Since this product is no longer available from the dealer this knock off works. You can hear it click when you start up the motor. Clicking to me means it is pumping. I did notice just before I ran out of fuel it was clicking more frequently, as it was starved for fuel. I've put 2500 miles on my '86 Honda Shawdow 1100 with no fuel pump issues. Although with reading other peoples reviews I still worry about it failing at some point. I almost want another one on the shelf ready for replacement. Always use premium fuel. Ethanol will break down after 3 months and could possibly lead to more issues.UPDATE:May 5 2019, about 4000 miles of use and it started failing, spurtering out on the freeway in Seattle. I was able to tap on it and cycle the key switch to get the bike an auto parts store and replace with a low pressure pump off the shelf.

So, it works as it should yea, but the main point I wanna make is that the build is great up to the plastic cover piece being a little lopsided at one end; Making it a bit harder to fit onto the bike through the sleeve.Other than that i've got no major complaints as it flows the fuel as needed.EDIT: After 3000-4000 miles, it failed. The Relay clicks but the pump itself just starts sputtering and spitting, replaced with Honda OEM and it works just fine.

Pump works fine and all but plug on the end in wrong. Pump came with a male electrical connection and should have been female. I had to cut the end off of the old pump and wire it into this pump. A small problem but a problem none the less.

Got it installed and noticed the fuel smell and it would not go away. Found the pump is the problem. Leaker. Got refund but still a pain.

Works prefect pretty nosiey when running the plug fit the bike but 2 wires are in the wrong spot just move the pins around

Cheaply made. It failed after one week. Even tried another one and it failed to.

Pump works great, unfortunately Honda doesn't offer the molded 180° line needed for this pump, get a Mr gasket 4-7 lbs pass through pump, mush easier to replace fuel lines.

This pump didn't even work right out of the box. Save your self a head ache and spent your money on a better pump. I should have researched this pump better before I bought. That's my fault.
