TP-Link AX1800 PCI Express Adapter

Wouldn’t work with the Bluetooth plugged in, it just kept making the computer shut down. It’s meant to be compatible with this computer

I have been building my own computers for decades, so I know what I am doing with regards to hardware, yet I was unable to get this to work. Key things to note that aren't made clear on the product page: - You need a spare USB header on your motherboard as well as a PCIe slot. I didn't a spare USB header, but unplugged the case USBs to try this out; - The drivers come on a CD. Seriously? In 2026, you are providing drivers on a CD? In the manual, they talk about installing drivers from the CD or USB, however, there wasn't a USB in the box. I've never seen a company provide a USB storage device with drivers on it before, so thought it was strange they'd even mention it, but I digress. Luckily, I had a back up and was able to download the drivers from TP link. The installer was unable to find the hardware. The method of installation just seems rather dated, as it is not plug and play. I wasn't happy that I had to sacrifice a USB header on my motherboard, either - not that it matters, because it just didn't work. Refunded.

Anteriormente tenía un dispositivo usb que también era wifi 6 y conseguía velocidades entorno a 250 mb. Con esta tarjeta, llegué a tener la misma velocidad que haciendo las pruebas de velocidad en el router. Además de por mejorar la velocidad, me gustaba esta tarjeta ya que también tiene implementado Bluetooth 5.2, ya que me permite conectar auriculares, teclados y otros dispositivos con mayor estabilidad y menor latencia. Las dos antenas externas aseguran una cobertura amplia y estable, incluso en zonas de mi casa donde antes la señal era débil. La instalación fue sencilla, aunque es importante asegurarse de tener una ranura PCI Express disponible en la placa base. Una vez instalada, la tarjeta en un Windows 11 tuve que descargar los drivers para que la reconociera. En cuanto a la seguridad, tiene soporte para WPA3. ✅ CONCLUSIÓN Es una tarjeta Wi-Fi de alto rendimiento, ideal para PCs de escritorio que necesitan una conexión rápida y estable. Karta spełnia swoje zadanie w 100%. Router znajduje się około 15 metrów od komputera, a mimo to sygnał Wi-Fi jest na pełnych kreskach. Połączenie jest stabilne, instalacja bezproblemowa i nie zauważyłem żadnych problemów podczas użytkowania. Zdecydowanie polecam.
