Perfect for a professor
I use this daily and I am very happy with it. My most favorite thing is that it has on/off switches for my carriers.

Works well. Highly recommended
Works exactly as it should. I like having the option to power on and power off certain components.

Wouldn't buy again
Barely charges a phone (yes I'm using the power adapter), wireless mouse doesn't work through it. Sturdy build and nice packaging..

Nothing but problems. had to replace after 2.5 months
Paid extra over a cheap one, hoping I would get what I paid for. One that works. I liked the fact that it had a card reader(which I NEVER had an opportunity to use yet), as well as on/off switches, thinking that might help it to work better too. This unit worked fine for a month maybe? Then the card reader, which DOES NOT have an on/off switch started turning on and off every couple seconds. It did not affect my other work at that point, it was just IRRITATING hearing the binging on/off noises every couple seconds. The mute button fixes THAT issue. Unfortunately, the rest of the ports- the WHOLE UNIT then started turning on and off. At first, it was only every minute or two, so I was able to get my small amount of work done, before it closed the files by shutting down, and making me start over. But now, it's just constantly ONOFFONOFF, and unusable. 35.00 down the toilet. Shopping for another now, but sticking with a name brand this time. I had purchased this 2-1/2 months ago. Yes, this IS a "powered" unit, that was infact plugged in properly as required, for those wondering about that.

The Best USB hub I've ever owned, by far
This hub was exactly what I needed for a new Dell XPS laptop with Windows 11. After performing Dell's recommended BIOS flash, all my old peripherals stopped working and I got the blue screen of death when they were plugged in. Plugging this hub directly into the USBC port on this Dell worked great. And, it comes with buttons to turn off each USB device That's great for me bc I have an old Wacom wireless drawing tablet, the battery is shot and when it's plugged in it's always on. With this hub I can leave it plugged in and just press the button to turn it off. The only con is I wish the buttons acted more light light switches. You have to hold then down for 2 or 3 seconds to activate them. But the fact they are there at all is well worth it. I highly recommend this product if you've recently purchased a new computer.

I must have gotten a dude.
I was using this to replace a HUB I use for work. Connects Keyboard, mouse, USB headset. Within 10 min I noticed that my keyboard was suffering significant lag problems. Then I noticed during my video call my USB headset kept cutting in and out constantly. It was continuously being disconnected and reconnected because I get a notice on the headset each time. Replaced the hub and the problem went away. Using it on WIN 10. We looked to see if I just needed to update drivers but it looks like the company doesn't provide any additional drivers.

Poor quality
Over-heated when you have multiple plus into it.
