The media could not be loaded.  This wooden camera kit is so much fun! The pieces are a little on the small side for a kid, but with my help, my seven year old son put it together over the course of a couple of afternoons. He simply adores taking pictures with it. This is a phenomenal way to give your kids and yourself a hands-on way of learning to shoot real film. The pictures are not the greatest, but that adds to the enjoyment of it :-) all the parts fit together really well and the directions are pretty easy to follow. Just make sure you review all the steps before starting and make sure you only open the different packs of pieces when the instructions tell you to. This camera definitely gets a lot of comments when you’re out and about taking pictures with it and starts some great conversations. Just be aware that due to it being a pinhole camera, the exposure time is longer than you would expect, so make sure to use a tripod or your pictures are going to be blurry even in broad daylight.

My future son in law does photography for a living and he loves to collect cameras. He is also into doing puzzles as well. I gave this to him as an early Christmas gift and he was able to put it together in the matter of a few hours by himself. It works like the instax cameras and takes the Instax mini film. I didn't realize how much this camera had on it, with exposure settings and such. He has had so much fun with this and it's nice that you can easily fold it up into a box and put it in the nice carrying bag that comes with it.

I ordered this for me and my nine year old son to put together and use. The quality of the individual pieces is excellent. Every piece is well cut out or molded. No rough or sharp edges are found and all the pieces fit together well. The instructions are simple and easy to follow. After several hours me and my son finished this camera but couldn’t use it because no starter film was provided. After waiting for film to arrive, we tried the camera out and it works great. We wasted a few of the first shots to learn how to correctly time the exposure. This is a really great product but I gave it four stars for two reasons. The first reason was because there was no starter film included with this camera. The second reason is that the price is a tad bit too high. I would still recommend this camera and we absolutely love it.

I loved building the camera. I am very familiar with the mechanics of a camera and everything looked very promising. When I had it all together the film would not advance out of the camera. Amazon sent me a replacement camera. Before assembling the new camera, I tested the film advance mechanism. It did not work either. When the film is ejected, the rollers are about 2mm too high and they will not grab the film to develop the instax film. It is a shame since it is beautiful. I had high hopes. I am returning it since I don't want a $100 decoration/puzzle.

this was ordered as a father/daughter project and I am so happy that we did it! I have been a photographer for a very long time, but all my work that y daughter has experienced is digital. Don't get me wrong, I love digital and I love analog, I jsut haven't had the time or resources to do analog for a very long time.. as my angry Mamiya with tell anyone listening... Having a accessible hand built project that brings us together and allows us to discuss how photography works and how light moves is priceless!So, I will say up front that there is no film included, so order the film before building so you can have that gratification!!! There are a ton of pieces in this kit and this was a bigger project than I first expected. That said, the kit is super well made, laser cut and really well finished and put together. We started it on our family project table so we could come back to it without having to put it away and that worked out best for us. It took about 3 sittings to put together so that my daughter wouldn't get overwhelmed or too distracted in a session. The instructions were super easy to follow and my daughter had such a sense of accomplishment when we were finished.We decided to wait till the next morning to try the film out in the daylight and it was very easy to load and shoot. it did take us a couple shots (and a tripod) before felt we were nailing it, but once we did, she was hooked! The Exposure "triangle" dial on the back is priceless, Yay for an analog exposure setting calculator!So we all know that analog photography is not cheap and this is not a "cheap kit" in build or price. Film is pricy too... but the look on my daughters face when she sees what she has captured with the camera that she put together with her own hands: Priceless!

Challenging enough to still be fun to put together, even more fun to actually use it to take pictures with. The illustrated instructions were very good, I took my time with it, so I did it a little at a time over a week. It's a beautiful display as well. Great gift for someone who likes building models, puzzles and taking pictures. Fun for adults and older children.

It comes well packaged, and the instructions are at least better than something from that Swedish store.The wood parts seem well cut out.It's a shame the screws provided don't even extend through the wood pieces. Expect to have to counter-sink every single hole you need to put a screw through. Because if you don't, the screws don't reach to grab, and if you DO manage to get something to grab, the screw head protrudes from the other side, and then the next part won't fit.There's so much potential. I really wanted to love it. Just a couple extra steps in manufacturing, and screws 1mm longer, and I could enjoy it.Otherwise, though, it's not going to do much of anything, as you'll never get it put together.

これ最ッ高です！！！超オススメ！ウクライナのチームJollyLookが作ったビンテージ風のピンホールカメラ。そのDIYキットです。作るのは少し手間がかかりますが、それも楽しい！エモい！完成したカメラは、とにかく可愛くて可愛くて可愛い！唯一の難点は、フィルムとして使用する富士フイルムのinstax miniフィルムが入手困難で価格高騰してること。ただ、ホントに可愛い写真が撮れるんですよ！めっちゃエモい！大事な友だちの写真、家族の写真は、スマホじゃなくフィルムで残しておきたい！！

Les premières photos étaient bien, pas la suite, il y avait des fuites de lumières intenses sur toutes les images, au point qu’on ne pouvait rien reconnaître. Ce n’est pas un produit fiable selon moi, je l’ai gardé comme décoration, je suis extrêmement déçu !!!

パズルや工作は好き（得意という意味ではない）なのですが、このピンホールカメラを組み立てるのには4日（作業時間のトータルは2時間程度）かかりました。部品は組み立てる順に番号が振ってあってそれを順番通りに組んでいく繰り返しなので、難易度は高くないかと思います。説明書をほとんど見ないである程度組み立てられる工程もたくさんありました。ただ、私の場合は、表裏がわからなかったりして、たびたび展開図を考えながら立ち止まって作業していたので、ちょっと時間がかかってしまいました。そういうのが速い人には、もうちょっと素早く仕上がると思います。木の質も良いですし、色合いもレトロで素敵です。パズルや工作が好きな方、夏休みの自由研究をしたい方におすすめです。

木製のピンホールカメラのキットです。組み立ては、2時間から3時間程度でネジと木組みすることで組み上がります。部品が順番に個包装されているので、誰で簡単に組み上がると思います。組み立て時の注意点です。1.部品の裏表を良く確認して組み立てましょう。説明書をよく読めば絵で書いてあるのでどちらが裏か表かが分かると思います。これを気をつけないと、誤って組みつけたときに場所によっては外すときに部品を壊す可能性があります。2.ドライバは、普通のドライバで大丈夫ですが、ペンタイプの電動ドライバがあればスムーズに組み立てられると思います。トルクはあまり要りませんので、大きな電動ドライバーは、NGです。1箇所だけ精密ドライバが必要ですが、普通のドライバでもなんとか止めらるかもしれません。3.ネジを止める方は、大抵ダボが付いていますので、よく注意しながら止めてください。4.三脚用のネジ止めは、ゆっくりと慎重に真っ直ぐにねじこみましょう。直ぐに斜めに入ってしまうので要注意です。5.稼働部にはグリスを忘れずに、薄くしっかり塗るとスムーズに稼働します。（説明書に記載されています）日本語説明書は、箱に2次元バーコードが貼ってありますので、ダウンロードして見てください。壊れやすい、壊しやすい部品は、予備部品としてついてきているので、安心ですが予備部品いある部品を扱う時は、取り立てて慎重に組み立てるように気をつけましょう。当然、フィルムは別途用意する必要がありますが、参考にセットしているところを上げておきます。また、現役で使っているローライフレックスと一緒に撮って見ましたが、大きさ的には、ほぼほぼ同じくらいの大きさですね。ちょっとだけ大きいかな…使用感について使って見てですが、とても面白いです。普通の写真、チェキで撮った写真とも違う味のある写真が撮れます。焦点距離と露出時間を最初は後ろ蓋の計算機で計算して試して見てから、自分で色々と試してみるとカメラって、写真を撮るってこんなに面白いんだと言うことが実感できると思います。子供の頃に付録でついてきたピンホールカメラで撮影し、机の下に簡易暗室を作って、現像していた頃を思い出しました。インスタックスミニが入手が難しくなっており、しばらくは高値が続くと思われますが返って1枚1枚大切に撮っていくフィルム時代の撮影方法もいいなぁと思いました。しばらく、楽しめそうです。
