This stoneware pot has many functions. It can be used as a planter, a wide vase or as a pot for holding implements, such as kitchen utensils. It is also a very decorative piece, with a dramatic combination of a red glaze with a broken grey brown glaze on top. The mottling and the controlled crawling of the upper glaze add complexity and interest. It weighs about 1.27 kilograms.
