Sufix832 Braid 20 lb Ghost 150 yards

I've been fishing over 60 years and am game to try new products. When braided line got popular I tried several of the major brands and find Suffix 832 to be the best for my type of fishing. I use it for several species (walleye, largemouth, spotted bass, small mouth bass and catfish)It has no "memory" ...is not as likely to oroduce "wind knots" as some of the brands I tried, and so far haven't cut grooves in my fishing rods... all good things!

I alway use Sufix for my reels. First time I bought this color and used this on my reels. Can not wait to see how it preforms.

I am really impressed with this line. After using Power Pro for about 15 years I've been trying some other brands of lines. I put this on my bait caster and it is much smoother and has much less memory than power pro which allows me to cast farther and is much quieter through the guides. I also like the ghost color as it seems less likely to spook fish in shallow water.Knot strength is also very good. I've landed a couple of 30+ inch snook on this line and the knots and line have held up with no issues.I use a different brand on line on my spinning reels but when it is time to re-spool those I may give the Suffix a try.

This line is quiet flexible and doesn't have near as much "memory" as the Spiderwire I have been using in the past. I tried it because of the many good reviews I had read. I caught a 29 1/2" and a 21" Redfish on it a couple of weeks ago, using a "Heavy" rod with a "Medium Heavy" tip (stiff) - no problem.

Of all the micro dyneema lines this is the best. I use it on all my reels and would not use any other. From bass, to walleyes and Muskies and Northerns. If it swims in freshwater this is the line to use.

Best braided line for baitcasters.

LOVE THIS STUFF!!! Makes my 6lb reel a mack on the lake!!! Be careful not to tangle it, because that's a real bitch! I pack a pair of nail clippers to cut this stuff.

I purchased three Okuma CW-354D fishing reels and I spooled them with 20 pound Suffix 832 braided fishing line.Problems1) If you get a hang up or hook a very large fish the line pulls down into the spooled line and causes your reel drag to malfunction just enough that the line breaks easily.2) The line knots up extremely easy and is very difficult to untangle. If you can untangle the line it will take three times longer than mono line.3) The line fades in the first few hours of use. (Used in salt water)4) Suffix line caused me to lose two extremely large flounder while fishing under the Chesapeake Bay Bridge High Rise two weeks ago.*Suffix line seems to have good knot strength but I would not buy it again or nor would I recommend this line to anyone.*I Used Suffix line for one week end and unspooled the line and replaced it with Trilene XL "My old favorite"
