It's a sturdy metal frame that supports a lid easily.The tray is a good place to keep spatulas etc while cooking.It is let down by poor design and functionality.The sections for lids are too close together so makes having more than one lid supported at any time awkward as you need to use two hand to move one lid while retrieving the other. The sections for utensils is too small and has no support to stop spoons etc sliding around.The plastic drip tray cracked after a couple of months use which makes the whole thing pretty pointless.

The media could not be loaded.  It can only hold small lids, the rack is too low to hold large (30cm) lid

I love this organizer. It holds the two large glass skillet lids securely. The front tray isn't deep enough for the pancake turner my husband uses regularly, but it's just right for the oil sprayer and salt/pepper grinder. I purchased a separate utensil holder.

This one is the one to order. I ordered cheaper ones and they break. This one is perfect.

This works fantastic when you have one or more items cooking on the stove. I always had difficulty finding a place to put a hot lid on, when stirring the pot. This solves that issue, and allows you to put two different size lids to hold at the same time. I only regret buying it in white, I'm not sure how well it would resist stain over time. It is metal construction, which makes it feel sturdy.
