Yes as long as they fire at athe same temperature or cone

Can this be sanded and polished if its used in gold jewelry?

These would have to be fired in a kiln, once it's fired. If decided to sand it down after firing, it can be, but it is going to lose the look of the piece. We cannot guarantee that once sanded and polished the out come of the product.

do you need to put a clear glaze on top to make it shiny?

No they fire to a glossy finish!
