Works perfectly. The end of the studs are sharp, not blunt. Both backs did stick but slid out easily. I have sensitive ears and these don't bother mine. It's not painless but was much less pain than getting my ears done at a parlor. I had my cartilage professionally pierced before and it went horribly. It never healed and I had to let it close up to heal. Using these had much less trauma to the piercing area. This was easy to do at home by myself though I did have my husband spot check that both piercings were even.

This item is pretty slick. At first I did not see earrings but after looking at it again found them to be in the spring loaded 'box'. It was easy for another person to do. No pain, fast. Nice not having to go anywhere to have it done. Clear instructions on box.

I had to remove my earrings early last your and could not put them back in for several months. I have 3 lobe piercings in each ear and one of them closed up in the back. I did not want to pay a piercer so I ordered these. My son lined it up with the front, clicked it and I barely felt anything: so easy to use. The kit comes with 2 earrings which are preloaded in the disposable piercing “gun”. Alcohol swabs are also included which is very convenient. The studs are small but an acceptable size. They are pretty and there was a lot of choice. The packaging was hard to get into for my arthritic fingers but that was easily managed. My son did not realize how easy the piercers triggers and so he accidentally triggered it before it was in place. Luckily I only needed one earlobe done. This was user error not a flaw in the design. Just be sure to have the piercer in place before squeezing it.

Easy to use and ridiculously affordable. Deducted one star because when piercing left ear the piercing apparatus would not release from earring back. Created some bad excitement for a moment. Overall I recommend and like that unlike same type kit I ordered from different manufacturer on Amazon the posts on the earrings aren’t so overly long that the sharp ends are poking into the side of your neck if you’re lying on your side. Other piercing kit jewelry was so uncomfortable that I lost the piercings as I couldn’t keep the earrings in without irritation. Will be ordering again.

I got these today. My mother in law helped me pierce my cartilage in both ears. It hurt but not unbearable. It was super easy and they are very sharp so it went through very easy. The pain was like being pinched but it stopped after a few seconds. The quality so far is great and will definitely get more when I want to pierce more. Update: My ears swelled and I now have cellulitis because the earring got stuck and I couldn't get them out without using pliers. Both of my ears are infected and I am now on strong antibiotics. They are pretty earrings and it was super easy to use but when my body had a reaction to them it took awhile to get them out. My ears became so red and painful it took days to be able to rip them out. I've had my cartilage done before but my body reacted differently to these piercings. They are extremely hard to get out once they are in. Which is one reason my ears got so swollen and painful. They clip in so tight getting them off was pretty hard.
