Device looks like it would be awesome...but no.Drawer was stuck inside unit out-of box.Mic sound delayed even though hooked direct to TV. High quality mic. Graphics looks like it is from the 80's. Not impressed. Sending back.

Brilliant machine easy to work sounds are good I got the device with 1000 songs and two CDG without good selection of songs for young and old good value for money

I bought this for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas and she loves it (I suspect our neighbours don't).The 2 mikes that come with it are OK, feeling solid and better than expected. The echo is a bit annoying and I tend to turn it off (a reverb would be better than an echo effect). The sound is definitely better if you connect it to Hifi, powered speakers or PA system and you can adjust the balance via the remote control. It comes with the greatest hits of 2020 (I'm 60 so knew very few of these) plus an 8 CD collection with about 90% of them being well known enough for me to attempt them.I've only used it with CD-G disks but you can download songs to your phone or laptop, save them on a memory stick and play the songs from that if you feel that CDs are for old fogies like me.As well as using this as Karaoke machine (it needs to be connected to a TV or computer monitor) you can use it as a hifi separate CD player, a DVD player and can convert CDs to MP3 and save them to a memory card or USB stick. Therefore it will still be useful long after you've grown out of the karaoke function.It also has a very nice blue light on the CD tray and an awesome array of sockets on the back. I think it is well worth the money.

It is glitchy, VCR level visuals and audio, song options are scarce and it really does not sound well. The mic/music syncing is never on point - voice is always delayed and adjustments of tempo/note are just performative functions. Nothing fully works. Song search, menu, settings, all work as if this was a faulty device from the 1980s. The box was thrown away during the Christmas chaos so haven’t been able to return it yet. Do. Not. Buy.

top bit of kit, works on HDMI and RCA .Only problem i had was that one of the microphone leads did not work, swapped them around but still no joy, luckily i have spare leads from my guitar/microphone kit. WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS IF NO PROBLEM.
