Wpro MWC014 Magnetischer Entkalker

We live in a hardwater area (in Berkshire) and had issues with our washer/dryer limescale buildup causing temperature sensor problems. I didn't want to go to the trouble of a full water softener, but this magnetic filter was very easy to fit at the tap end of the washer/dryer water supply hose. Good so far. High quality fitting. Very pleased.

Im impressed that it helps with the washing machine without having to use to much detergent and not getting anti limescale tabs as i live in a hard water area. But installing it was very easy though im not using aspect as they screwed up the water hose plastic cap of my newest washing machine and there cost redicolus for a very small job

Easy to fit which I have put on todayRead reviews online and came across this one on Amazon which it says it helps.I do live in hard water area so I hope this keeps my machine to last longer and prevent break down.If anything changes then I will report back

Works amazingly well. I installed this when my new washer got delivered and after a year there isn’t an ounce of lime scale inside the machine (something that very quickly built up on my previous machine due to our hard water areas)Highly recommended!!

Fitted a treat not obstructive or bulky.Will have to wait a few months to see if it does stop limescale

I know showers aren't mentioned in the description, but I bought this hoping it would fit onto my shower, but the size was too large. Had previously had something similar which I had one on washing machine inlet pipe and one on shower - both the same size. As I said, this one was too large for shower connection, not sure therefore how universal it is. Also looked probably too large for my washing machine pipe, although that was too difficult to get to to try it. Therefore returned sadly.

The product made an instant visible change in dishwasher. I suspected that this would work since our limescale is partially from rust too. However, I tried other products and they were not effective, but then the magnetic flux there was top 4000, and this one is 20500 Gauss. That made a big difference. Unfortunatelly, I cannot find that strong magnet for water heater or cistern which has 1/2'' pipe entry, so I will very likely buy more of these and just attach the adapter on both sides. So if you are looking for something that works look how strong magnets are.The change was absolutely instantly visible, not only that there was no new deposits, the older ones diminished too. Typically a glass would be foggy and you had to clean it through every time. Now, nothing. The spots left on glasses are trivial to remove if any. And so on. We believe it has the same effect on washing machines, just it is not that easy to confirm, but even there the cloudy afterwash glass is gone.
