Great little drone. Super fun to fly. Work well inside. I have not tried outside yet, but I'm guessing they will only work outside in very calm weather. They seem to be pretty indestructible. Three batteries gives you a lot of flying time.Really my only complaint for the price is that the batteries are very hard to get out of the charger. If someone knows a secret to get the batteries out of the charger, please share.EDIT - I found if I hold the charger upside-down it seems to be easier to get the batteries off the charger.

This drone has been great! I got it for my 8 year old son, and he was able to figure out the controls right away and master them in less than a day. It was pretty stable right out of the package, but had a little drift. I was able to adjust that for him per the instructions, and it hasn't needed another adjustment. It comes with three batteries, and each one seems to last at least 15 to 20 minutes, so my son's attention often shifts to something else before his batteries are all depleted. The best part about this drone is its durability - it has had several tumbles caused by attempted intricate maneuvers where it has fallen multiple stories, bounced down stairwells, fallen through tree branches, wound up under furniture and in decorations, etc. It has neither caused damage nor been damaged through any of that. We always turn it right side up, and off it goes! And finally, with the multiple speed settings, this thing really zips around - I have a blast flying it as well, so it definitely is an "all ages" drone. For the price, it has really met and exceeded all expectations I had for what I'd be getting.

Description was "new" but now shows as "used-like new". The description when purchased was 21.81" L X11.79" W X 21.42"H, however, that is incorrect. The box had been opened and there was no remote in the box. The item could not be verified as usable. There may be more problems than just a missing remote.The item was not returned within return time frame as it was a gift and the family missed the deadline by a couple of days.Next time open gift and verify item is as described before gifting.Disappointed more than I can say.UPDATED review:It was over 30 days between ordering and finding the part missing and thus too late to return the drone. I contacted Holy Stone directly on the chance that I could obtain a Remote Controller to make it functional. Rather than provide a controller, they provided a complete replacement which had all the protective packing material as well as the controller. I returned the original. While not happy that an incomplete and previously tampered with unit was initially shipped by Amazon, I was pleasantly surprised that Holy Stone was willing to replace the unit after the 30 day return period. My son had this drone for about a week before it malfunctioned. I contacted the company directly and received excellent customer service. I was told that the unit should only be operated for brief periods (5-7 minutes) before allowing it to rest, which quite possibly could have been the reason my son's first unit broke. I just hope that is included in the instruction manuals in the future! Anyway, the company immediately sent out a new unit, which works perfectly. Bravo to this company for standing behind its product. Very rare.

I originally bought this for my kid to play and learn with before he jumps in on a high-end drone. The drone doesn't really stay in one place horizontally as it should. For example, if you fly forwards/back/side-to-side, it will go up or down slightly on the horizontal level–not to dramatically–which is annoying. It isn't horrible but it's not good for a beginner in that aspect. Overall, it's seemingly low-quality, thin plastic, and wouldn't withstand much impact against something hard; The frame is the biggest concern in that regard. Putting the battery in is simple, but again I feel like the plastic is weak and I could break even putting the battery in and removing it, sometimes.On the positive side, it's got a good response to the remote actions and I was indoors around the wifi, etc. It flys and controls nicely when not trying to just hover in one place. The flip is fun too. It's great for someone who just wants to take out a drone and play around the family or friends indoors/outdoors.

I purchased 5 of these kid drones in July to save for my children for Christmas. After opening Christmas Day we found that one did not work correctly. Even though the warranty time had expired, they still sent us a brand new one to replace it! Their customer service was so kind and understanding. All of my kids were able to fly these without much trouble and have had a blast playing with them. (Ages 4-11) I highly recommend them!!

Experienced pilot- purchased for a budding copilot. Super cute little drone. Unfortunately we are 0-2 and have to send 2nd one back the day after receiving the replacement for the first one.First drone allowed 2 flights per battery and would not longer take off. Charger indicates batteries are charged and drone will not power up. No goodReplacement drone allowed 1 flight per battery and does not appear to be getting power. No goodGreat little drone when it worked sadly they don’t for long. Expected better, even for a $30 drone. Not sure exactly what is the issue is but not my job to find out.

First is it's size. Smaller than it appears in the sales presentation.I expected the drone to be of some size.when it arrived it seed it's box and new this must be tiny!The next issue I had was that no matter what I tried I could not get the drone to start!
