Asdaaf Majd Al Sultan EDP 100 (3.4Oz)

This is very good. Masculine until the dry down where saffron makes it a bit sweeter. Even then it leans masculine. It’s myrrh with cedar and Xmas trees with a smoky undertone. This is absolutely atomic. 4 sprays will have me gagging. 3 is good. As a lady I use this layered with a sweet vanilla. It’s a natural tree outdoors walking through the woods feel. Not really at all like by the fireplace if you were wondering. It’s not warm like BTF is. It has more of a cooling effect like pine. It smells lovely and is different enough that I own both this and BTF.

I bought this based on multiple recommendations on YT as a unisex winter perfume. This scent is divine! Smokey rich and definitely long lasting and it smelled great… on my husband! This is definitely masculine leaning (smells less so on me), but definitely better on a man.

Smells super expensive

This is my favorite of all perfume I ever had in my life.I will always buy this one. I bought 2 for now.

Smells nothing like Replica’s By the fireplace to me. By the fireplace is sweet and smoky. This is not sweet. This has a subdued, dull , damp, somewhat mossy musty smell to the dry down. When you first spray it, it is slightly sweet, that goes away soon after. I love this fragrance, but again it is nothing like the by the fireplace which I own. That is sweet, smoky and very cloying.. I can wear Majd Al Sultan to bed. When I wore by the fireplace to bed, I couldn’t sleep all night. I felt as if I was being choked out.

Very good and Smokey. Similar to Replica’s By the Fireplace. I can wear this as a woman. Probably better for colder months. Smokiness does calm down as it sits. It’s wonderful! Very different from Ameer Al Oud Intense by Lataffa, so I think you can own both. If you don’t like Smokey, avoid this. Would buy again!
