I had no issues with these. They were not dry, making them easy to roll into candles. Burned well too.

We make candles every week for Shabbat with these wonderful sheets. Also good for making tiny birthday candles. We buy a separate roll of cotton wicking that is for smaller candles. Beeswax is best because it has a wonderful aroma and burns almost soot free. Much better for our indoor air quality.

I homeschool my youngest and ordered this for his art course. Kids and adults can easily make candles with this kit. The colors are nice, but I wish you received more wax sheets for the price. It's easy to make the cutouts either with scissors or cookie cutters, and now we'll have plenty of candles to burn!

I ordered this kit as a fun summer project while the kids are out of school. The kit itself is really nice. Each sheet of beeswax is separated by tissue paper and arrived in great shape! The instructions are simple and offer a few different ways that we can create our candles. This is a great creative project for kids or adults alike and when completed, you have a few attractive candles for use in your home! The colors are nice, vibrant colors that are consistent throughout, and each wax sheet is a different color. The kit says you can make 12 candles, but that is if you only use 1 sheet per candle. I suspect that some of our candles will be more colors and may involve cutouts, so we will probably make less, but that's completely fine. There is wick included for you candles, so the only supplies you will need are cutting instruments and maybe a ruler. This would make a great gift, or you could make candles and give them as gifts and that would be nice too.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered this kit as a summer activity to do with my 4 year old daughter. While she’s not really old enough to use the exacto blade (she could use scissors though) she loves rolling them up and sticking the wax cut outs on! For the first one she told me she wanted a baby sea turtle, fish, and hearts. I love how creative you can be with them! Would recommend this product to anyone.

My 9 year old was able to open this up and make a few candles with the instructions provided, completely on his own. He's wanting to make more for Christmas gifts now.

This was originally gifted to me, hoping it was 100% BEESWAX, which actually purifies the air, vs other fuel types and additives that can irritate lung conditions. These sheets smell like plastic and crayons. The wick is not cotton and comes coated and broken in places. After burning, there is a lot of wasted fuel that hardens into plastic. Beeswax should be soft, pliable, and shapeable. There are multiple typos in the instructions and guide included. Language errors suggest this is not a locally-sourced company within the United States, if that is important to you. I went back to Candelology. Big difference in quality and comparable pricing, especially for getting actual 100% BEESWAX sheets.

I bought as a winter solstice activity to do with my 5 year old, but then used the leftovers as a date night activity with my husband as well! Great instructions were included and a blow dryer helps a ton to roll them up. I only wish they smelled like honey more. Very fun, we will be buying more!

While not as cheap to make as the wick dipped in wax this is perfect for crafts where hot wax is not desired or to introduce candlemaking at beginning of candlemaking sessions. I had one box for the whole class of kids during bible youth camp and it was a huge hit. We even utilized scraps. Directions were great. Wicking was easy to cut and easy to make artistic candle creations. Large variety of coloured sheets in box. 4/5 because I wish it wasn’t as expensive but well worth the money for fun and ease of use.

I bought this for grand daughter. Everything you need to make lovely bees wax candles. If you use tiny cookie cutters you may add a shape on your candle.
