SOG BladeLight Hunt Fixed Blade w/Light BLT20L-CP - Built-in 6 LEDs, Leather Sheath, 3.8" Blade

The quality of this knife exceeded my expectations. I use this for both tacticle and search and rescue ops. For the money, it's well worth it. Mine is attached to my lbv and fits nicely. I did tie it down with some paracord for assurance though, the metal clip isn't perfect for attachment to a lbv. The sharpener works well combined with a leather strop, the less are plenty bright and the weight and balance are good.

Nicer then I expected, the light feature is very cool, really unusual I think too, and I thought the price was great.love the sheath too. The knife has a great feeling in my hand ,I really do like it. Pretty cool,...Good job SOG !

Warning - this item cannot be returned because of "special handling" required to mail it. I bought it for my husband for a Christmas gift and he decided he'd get more use out of a differnt SOG knife. I tried to return it so we could buy the other knife, and I was surprised by a notice saying I could not return.

I got this mostly as a carrying knife when venturing or camping and expected to be out past dark. Sure, the lights are a bit gimmicky, but they are also useful so you can see what you are cutting. The blade is of sufficient thickness, but since it cannot be full tang (as there has to be space in the handle for the battery), I have not tried to use it to pry, and probably wont. The sheath is pretty clever, incorporating both a cord cutter and a sharpener. Good touches. Very happy with this purchase.

This is now my night stand knife. Keep it right by the bed every night. Very good quality! Excellent actually. Not a single complaint. The lights work great, the blade is sharp and the handle fits like a glove.

Knife was a gift for my son who is a hunting fanatic. He loves it! He went on a hunting trip this weekend and he and a friend used his knife to quarter two deer. He said, “We used mine because it had a light and it cut through the deer like it was butter.” He was very impressed!

The light did not work, so I'm returning it. The knife itself is not great. I bought it for the convenience of the light for light, around-the-camp chores, so I would like to receive another, working one. I know its not a high-quality SOG knife, but I would think the company would want to keep up their good reputation by having the light checked before mailing.

I bought this for my dad this past Christmas. He forgot to try it out when he killed a deer at night, but he killed one later in the season during the day, and he used it then, and he said it even helped in broad daylight when he was gutting it. He was so impressed with it, he bought one for a friend of his. Very cool design!
