Just what was needed!!!
Worked out perfect!!! Just what I needed .. I measured and clamped it down before drilling the holes leaving me extra just in case I had to bring it up one hole ..Nailed it on the first test Run !!Now the engine is sitting perfect and no more big spraying when running full speedOverall quality seems great ! It’s pretty beefy ! Says up to 35 hp but I feel confident a 9.8 Tohatsu is just fine lol ..Also to note none of the holes are drilled out for bolting it to the Transum !!! That’s a good thing !!You choose the area where you want to drill. .. they put all the little marks though so this way it’s all even ..Definitely would buy again if I needed oneHope this helps someone out !! Measure twice drill once !!Short shaft 9.8 on a 11ft Avon Rover inflatable

Heavy duty used for 10hp Evinrude
Thing is pretty beastly. Was a little disappointed that the wood mounting block came already chaffed up meaning it will rot if not coated with Marine grade urethane. So we treated it to do it right the first time. Plate itself is heavy duty will need to get proper stainless mounting bolts, washers, nuts for best fit.

Good but be careful
Great jack plate, just be carefull it will put alot more stress on the boat so you may need to reinforce your transum

Wood was a bad cut, jack plate worked though
The block of wood I received was not cut symmetrical or even near it, and had a dark bad spot running through the middle which cracked upon installing. I had to cut my own new piece to fit, and then it was fine. The aluminum plate itself is good to go but don't count on the wood being great. Definitely should've been better wood for being around water and clamped tight

It's solid! Test mount with clamps first to mount to correct height
Find the center of the transom. Use sturdy C-clamps to hold the mount on the transom, centered and at the correct height (cavitation plate of outboard in line with the bottom of the boat). Pick which divots that will go through the transom board after drilling and mark them with a pen or pencil. Make a mark around the mount after you're sure it's centered and at the right height. Remove the mount. Drill the holes with the correct size of your bolts (stainless steel hardware). Use a sharp drill and go slowly so you don't drift the hole (I used a drill press, aligned and clamped for each hole. After the holes are drilled, re-clamp the mount on the boat where you marked it and then drill the holes through the boat. I used silicone seal on the bolts, holes and fender washers with a lock nut on the inside, tightened well. I cut the excess threads off the bolts so they wouldn't snag things, like flesh and fuel lines.
