Reliable, easy to use prepaid SIM card. Great value.
I ordered this SIM card for a trip to Germany, Italy, Spain and back to Germany. The card included more than enough talk and text time and I figured enough data for the duration of the trip. I activated the card in the US and hoped it would work as I arrived in Germany although I was not sure what to expect. When I arrived in Germany, the phone I bought for the trip literally died upon arrival. I bought a new phone in Germany andinstalled the SIM card and voila, it picked up a signal, started up the data and I was good to go. As I travelled to Italy, Spain and back to Germany, the Sim card connected with a local wireless provider upon arrival. Connection was always good and it turned out the data was more than sufficient for the 2 week trip (I used it to check email, read the news, searched for travel and other info, as well as used Google map for driving and walking directions, but kept video watching to a bare minimum). This was a great value and I will consider purchasing a prepaid SIM card from this provider again.

Calls and text severely limited!! & cannot contact any US phone number
Despite being one of the advertised 71 countries, this sim did not work to contact ANY United States number via text or call within the US before I left, as well as outside of the US when I was in Europe. The whole point was to be able to stay in contact and I had to download a wifi messaging app. Super frustrating. Furthermore somehow after 30minutes of calls to a euro number, I got a notice that my card was out of credit and needed to be topped up?! It would no longer let me send or receive texts or make calls. Not the “unlimited” that was advertised! So disappointed!! The only star is for ease of installation and the fact that the data at least worked. I never came close to the limit so I can’t comment if it was the full advertised 10gb or not, but call and text was fully false advertising and I would not recommend to purchase this.

Worked in Colombia
This is basically a prepaid data-only SIM card from UK's Three. Upon receiving the SIM card prior to my trip to Colombia from the US, I contacted the seller to activate the SIM card, and it worked in the US (also received a text message from UK's Three). The data also worked fine when I landed in Colombia, but the network speed was pretty slow and spotty (4G, around 1 Mbps on my unlocked iPhone 12). The amount of data (10GB) was more than enough for my short visit, and it continuously worked in the US for the remainder of the thirty days. Interestingly, I created my account on the Three UK website using the SIM card information I had after the trip, and it looks like I could renew the data plan if I wanted for only £10 per month. And I will even get 20GB if auto renewed every month including UK's unlimited minutes and texts. Overall, I was happy I had the data connection during the trip, and I think it's a great deal if I kept the SIM active and used it as a data-only plan in the US and 71 other countries, if only I could visit so many in the future.

Works easily in most European countries for voice, texting and high-speed data
So, this prepaid SIM card makes the most sense for those who are traveling to one or more various European countries in the 30 day period. Having the data part also work in the US (uses T-Mobile network) is a great bonus with a SIM from a company that operates first in English and doesn't require a lot of registration that is otherwise common throughout the world. In most countries on 3's GoRoam program, you can get LTE coverage, but some countries specifically have only 3G coverage negotiated. The data isn't super fast, but very usable and better than most public WiFi networks which is the alternative. However, I also found having a European phone number for voice and native texting very valuable especially if you want to use ridesharing or taxi services. Having this SIM definitely made my trip much easier to manage. In the UK, 3's network is definitely less overbuilt than O2 or Vodafone, but not bad enough to consider those options instead. We all understand the business model here, try to get as many paying subscribers to use existing network investment.

Worked well, though not completely without a glitch
As suggested, we tested this card in the U.S. before leaving for Europe. We selected AT&T in our area as the network (there was no guidance that came with the SIM card - we just took a guess), and that checked out fine. We received a text welcoming us to the U.S. and also told us to accept a few setup changes in our phone, which we did without any problem. Our first stop in Europe was Switzerland, and upon inserting the SIM card and choosing SWISSCOM, the card kicked in immediately, with a text message welcoming to Switzerland. The card worked the entire time we were in the country without any problem. In Italy, our next stop, things were slightly different. The network that paired with this card was Wind, which again was not mentioned anywhere with the card's instruction, but since no other networks worked, it was easy to figure out that this was the right one in that country for this card. For whatever the reason, however, in order for the card to work in Italy, we always had to make certain that the Wi-Fi was completely switched off in our phone. If the Wi-Fi was turned on and even if our phone was not using any Wi-Fi hotspot, we could not access the internet via the cellular network. This was the case even though the phone indicated that the roaming mode, which is required for this card, was properly functioning. It took us a while to figure out this behavior, which did not happen at all while in Switzerland. When the card was working, the speed was almost always at 4G, throttling down to 3G only occasionally and then in the non-urban areas. Even though there were above-mentioned glitches, we would probably buy this card again the next time we travel to Europe.

The features advertised do not work while you travel, DO NOT BUY THIS CARD
I bought this SIM card for European travel. It advertised 36GB of data for one month with an option to top up. The Three company fails to mention on Amazon that you can add the money ONLY if you have a UK based credit card. With a UK-registered address. I am a US customer with a US issued credit card. There is no way to pay with a non-UK credit card on the web site. Contacted customer service. I spent two long sessions with customer support, it turned out there is no way to add money to your sim card without a UK credit card (and a UK address). "I'm afraid you won't be able to use any card to top-up. Only Uk registered card." - was the response from my chat with the customer service. And, also, out of those 36GB data the company promises - you can use only 12GB, the remaining 24 GB require a 0.5 pence per MB charge which - guess what? - you can't pay if you don't have a UK credit card and a UK address!! That certainly feels like a carefully disguised scam for non-UK customers to me. If you sell SIM cards on Amazon to US customers without a way to such customers to even use the promised 36GB, there is something very wrong with the company and its product. DO NOT BUY THIS CARD unless you are a UK customer with a UK credit card and address. I just wasted my money on this product.

Good product for use in Europe
When planning our trip through Greece and Italy, we determined our needs would be to be able to call hotels, AirBnb's, make reservations, communicate with each other, and use our phones for navigation and other information on the net. Secondary was being able to call friends or family at home in the US. When looking at these cards, I was not sure about international calling or texting, but we were fine with doing that using WI-FI calling and messaging by email or Facebook Messenger. These SIMs worked perfectly at a very reasonable price. Installing was easy. We have iPhone 6s Plus phones and on a 2 hour layover in Frankfurt, I replace our SIMs and after restarting the phones we were on with no issues or changes in phone settings. Throughout the three weeks in Greece and Italy we had good coverage and reasonably fast Internet. We were able to text and call our Airbnb hosts with no issues. As I said, if international calling and texting to the US is critical, this may not be the card for you, but if you need service throughout Europe, these are perfect.

Worked on some phones some of the time in Greece, Germany
We bought several of these SIMs to use in several different phones. The newer Moto E4 mostly worked, although the pre-registration step was a bit of a hassle and took ~12 hours from the US before the confirmation email came in. (N.B. the Orange Holiday sim did not require pre-registration and was more reliable overall, but it costs quite a bit more as of the time of this review.) The sim did lose service randomly several times within the first couple of days in Greece until the phone was restarted. In Athens it mostly seemed to run on the Cosmote service. HOWEVER, other members of our party were not so lucky. Our older Samsung and HTC phones had a weird behavior in which texts could be received but not sent! This was true both in Athens and in the Frankfurt airport, so it wasn't location specific. We spent a while with the Three customer service who were friendly but unable to solve the problem, unfortunately. To sum up: make sure you have a newer phone, and be prepared to fiddle around with reboots to regain service every so often. If the vendor could provide a list of phones that will/won't work properly with this SIM that would be helpful.

Super Roaming Sim

Update to Update .... Yeah Initial comments were right - BUYER BEWARE!!!
Urgh, same thing happened with my other phone. Lost my account, not able to sign in to check, weird! Spent weekend testing to see if it was my phone that was the problem. Eventually completely lost all signal on Sunday - no account and no signal! Staff member at a sim provider store suggested I try to get a PAYG sim from Tesco, said she was not surprised about my problems with Three sim but wasn't going to elaborate. A Tesco staff member at the Glasow Queen St branch , possibly a manager - took the time to help find me the right sim. Got the £20 GiffGaff sim with 80GB data - although the credit seems to go quite fast if you make quite a number of calls - so while not a complete solution, it is still better than NO SIGNAL - here's looking at you Three - dishonest business practice.

Lots of data in Europe.
This was a great way to save money and not give Rogers Canada any extra money for using my phone in Europe. When my plane landed in Paris I put in this new SIM card. My phone restarted and it automatically configured the sim to work. Had data before I left the airplane. When I took the train to London the card continued to work as expected. A perfect sim for traveling around Europe
