2-Pack 1/2Inch Air Compressor Intake Filter Silencer Muffler

I’m using this a little off label, but I’m pleased with how it turned out. I used it as a solution or pre filter on a Kawasaki FR691V air intake. The muffler sits directly below where the factory air box gets air. I’ve added the oil bathed sponge around the paper filter. With the add on of this compressor silencer it might get some cooler air. If not, it would at least create a small vortex in the air filter box. Theoretically that is. Plus I think it looks cool.

I got both, it came with a total of 4 air filters, 2 inside the airboxes and 2 extra. The 2 outside were a little crushed, they just came in a plastic bag but it's still functional. I saw reviews saying they didn't reduce the noise but on my ancient compressor it was a drastic noise reduction. Also I cross-shopped on eBay and Temu and saw what looks like the identical parts on a range of $15-$39! $8.99 shipped here with 1-day shipping was great. 1 note, the lids are tight and hard to remove. The tabs the lid locks onto are thin steel and almost sliced my hand when removing the first time so be cautious of that.

I would give this 5 stars, but the description in the ad is not correct. It says half inch 20 mm that is not half inch 20 mm is more like 3 of an inch half inch is 13 millimeters, so I will reorder product and refund the other item.

It fit my Cobalt air compressor which had its factory filter broken off while moving homes. It seems to be doing what I need. Keep incoming air clean as to keep my compressor running well for years to come.
