Lumabase 52112 Bags Plastic Luminarias, Ghost

Tried several bags and then found these. Had them up from the first of December until January 3. Have dried them and folded them for next year. Highly recommend for long term use. Used them at our military memorial.

These are very cute. Excited to use for Christmas.

I bought these luminarias to replace some faux paper sack types that use a string of electric lights. These are far more attractive, brighter and with seasonal designs on them. They look wonderful at the entrance of our home. The plastic, however, is much thinner than the old set--which may be for good or ill. They are much less brittle, so may last longer. Or they may be too flimsy to hold up. Only time will tell.More importantly for others making similar use, there are no holes punched in which to insert electric bulbs in these luminarias, so I had to cut holes in order to use string lighting. The result, in any case, is very pleasing.

Used with battery candles, these glowed and stayed great looking all Halloween night! I would buy these or similar again. I could not find waxed-paper luminaria as I used to be able to this year, so bought these and plain paper ones instead. Would not buy the plain paper again. These are pricy, but the durability is worth it.

I have used paper bags in the past and they get soggy up here in the winter months so I tried these and they worked really well. Lit up nicely, and I poured some feed pellets into baggies that I placed on the bottom of each bag to hold it in place and put a battery candle on top. Looked lovely and lasted all evening.

I used these for a cheerleading party as decoration for an evening event. I used my Cricut machine and cut all the cheerleaders’ names out of vinyl and applied to the sacks. I added a bit of sand and a tea lamp to each one. They looked amazing! They are heavy duty and I love that they are not flemsy paper.

These were fine but they didn’t light up that well. I put two or three electric tea lights in each and they only lit up at the bottom. A five inch battery candle would probably work better but I didn’t want to spend all that money on candles. I sent them back.

Loved this with the colored lights inside. Made my landscape beautiful and festive!
