Little did I know...
that when I bought these because I wanted to teach myself to suture that 6 months later I'd have a real world use for therm. While these are listed as for training only, out of necessity, I used it to close three large gaping wounds on a chicken that was attacked by a hawk. She wouldn't have survived without it and there are no vets in my area that will work on chickens. So faced with the choice to cull her or try to save her, I picked the latter. I'm happy to report that these worked great and 10 months later she's still running around being a happy chicken.

Good to have in hand, because life is unpredictable.
We have a little fishing resort and put it in our first aid kit - just in case. 25 years not needed, but we are ready, thanks to products like this.

Horrible quality
Horrible quality, I am a premed student currently and I enjoy suturing in my spare time, just as something to do. I got these sutures a few weeks ago, and I wasn’t going to write a review, I was going to let it go when one of the needles wasn’t attached to the string, I was going to let it go when the silk braided snapped way too easy, but today I was throwing a stitch when the needle SNAPPED! I have never seen anything like this, mid stitch it just snapped. Would not recommend.
