Old Time Quality (which is good!)
Most staple guns seem to be using T50 staples these days. I had a box of 5000 STCR-5019 staples which fit a 50+ year old Bostitch staple gun that no longer worked. They fit this new gun and the gun works perfectly! Nice hand grip (as opposed to the 1st "Heavy Duty" Bostitch I bought that didn't work with my staples), Feels rugged and like it will last forever. I may update this post at the End of Eternity to announce whether it lasted forever.

Not bad. Don’t forget to the the staples too.
The case looked worn out and loose. The packaging was not up to my expectation but I really needed one right away for back to school so I decided to keep it. Although the box was all messed up the stapler seemed like it was in good condition. No sign of use. My last one that I paid $10 for broke down after one day of use and I was very disappointed and wanted something that is durable. So far so good. It seems really sturdy and and the rubber grip on handle is definitely helpful. I like it and I hope it will last many years more~~!!

Powerful, but one minor problem
I haven't tried to tack onto a medium that the staples couldn't pierce yet, including wires, unfortunately. It sinks staples reliably into every wood I've tried, but the width of the tacker is about a 1/4-1/8th inch on either side of the staple, so if you try to tack a wire into a corner it's just going to end up piercing the wire. You also have to be careful to center the wire between the notches, lest you pierce the wire by accident. Other than that, does what it says reliably.

Great stapler
I had a Craftsman stapler for years that finally broke. I needed to do some upholstery work so bought this. The wood on the chair was very hard and I wasn't sure this was going to be powerful enough to staple into, but it worked great. Some complain about requiring special expensive staples, but I don't mind if they work and are readily available. This is definitely easier to use than my old Craftsman. Instead of squeezing, you can just press down.

Stiff grip - hard to use
Clunky tool. Designed only for someone with large hands. Short blunt lever handle, awkward wide-space grip. Very stiff action w moderate recoil. Wearing on hand with prolonged use. Heavy weight in hand. Uses only tented proprietary Bostitch staples. Annoying loading rail. That said, it's well constructed for someone with large strong hands that has no concern for present or future arthritis or tendonitis. No staple jamming issues. Staples securely. Durable construction.
