BuzzAround Ex Extreme 4-Wheel Scooter GB148

I was amazed at the simplicity of ordering a scooter on line. I read horrible reviews from buyers that purchased from other companies of problems with late deliveries, poor quality and more. I was very nervous about ordering and not being able to see it, drive it etc before purchase. I am EXTREMELY EXCITED and PLEASED so far with the overall purchase, from ordering to the delivery to the scooter itself. Within a week, I received the call that the scooter was in and ready for delivery. The representative that called, inquired about my area of my home, because the scooter is delivered as freight, meaning on an 18-wheeler truck. The representative stated with knowing the information of my country side home that it could be difficult, but would have the driver contact me. The driver was super sweet, he inquired about the layout of the land and other options if he could not driver to my home. It ended up that he could not get to my home, but thankfully, I have a truck and was able to meet him at the local gas station. He loaded on my truck and off I went. Super easy. My husband unloaded it off the truck later that day. It was packaged very, very well.. Large supported box on a pallet. Every piece was double wrapped and packed with bubble wrap. Was able to assemble in no time and give it a test drive. The quality is great, better than expected. Being an owner of a three-wheeler for years, the four-wheeler is different and much more sturdy. The seating on this model is wonderful, very comfy. The seat adjust in height and the steering too. This model came with a fold-up shopping basket that attaches to the back behind the seat. Perfect for shopping days. In my case, antiquing and flea marketing! Took it out for a spin the following weekend after delivery, and all though, I little different to drive from my three-wheeler, drive easy and smooth riding. Can't wait until spring and summer to really test it out going on different terrains shopping for antiques! Highly recommend this model and/or a model from this particular company!!!!

I can't say i have any dislikes. I've had buzzaround ex extreme for 3 weeks now. Ive used it, pretty much every day. I think the longest I've driven it was 7 miles round trip and still had 2 out of 4 battery lights showing. I consider this scooter to be reliable. I don't think you would be disappointed with the purchase of this model.

Bought this for my husband who lost use of his one leg at work. So he can not do much walking anymore. We are annual pass holders for Disney World and Universal and we love going very often(once a week to a park). This scooter is great for the parks, my husband gets around all the turns in the lines with no problem and most of the people(there are a few rude ones that will walk right in front of you while your moving without looking). The battery lasts from opening to closing in every park, we have never had to stop plug in and charge at any park since we have been using it. The basket is great we keep a cooler in it filled with cold waters, and it also holds our backpack and purchases(saves on having to carrying anything. The seat is wide enough and comfortable, the grandkids sit on his lap and drive with him when they get tired of walking. I have even used throughout the parks and it is easy to use rugged and lasts.

I replaced a gogo sport with the buzzaround ex. The gogo has more legroom, goes just as fast, and has the ability to adjust the speed through a wider range. The buzzaround is nice and quiet on the grass, the suspension helps, I was excited for more range from the u1 batteries but I think I got a dud. The first of 4 battery guage LEDs goes out after going around the block (battery draining way too fast), the motor makes a lot of noise going downhill, and I keep getting an error code for an overheated circuit board after very little use.. This thing is a month old and has given me nothing but problems.At this point I wish I would have just replaced my 10 year old gogo sport. That thing was a tank that has been used and abused without a problem for thousands of miles of heavy use.I don't know if golden technology scooters are ready for prime time.I am also still waiting for the tech to get back to me after a month so the golden technology service leaves a lot to be desired as well.. at this rate it will be out of warranty before I can get the tech out to fix the problems.I would not recommend this scooter.UPDATE:After a year of using I've noticed a few things that came up. Firstly, the shrowd that covers the rear wheels and motor broke off on the 2nd trip in the car and I'm on my 3rd epoxy repair waiting for the next time it breaks off. This shrowd is built of cheap and brittle plastic and is not strong enough to hold this heavy part of the scooter (even though the handle is part of this shrowd).Secondly, the grey tread panels where your feet go, are of the dame cheap plastic and have been popping off lately.Lastly, the tires are not as good as the ones on my gogo sport in grass. The tires are rounded with center ridges leaving much less rubber on the road (or grass) and the tires regularly spin out. The gogo's tires were flat and wide and offered much better traction.Overall, for a few hundred LESS the GoGo Sport is a much better scooter. I've spent 3 years on this buzzaround and before that I used the gogo sport for 5 trouble free years. I will be going back when this buzzaround kicks the bucket.Update 4-11-20: first replacement motor just died and only has a 1 year warranty. Guess I'll be going back to a gogo sport sooner rather than later. I spent $1700+ on this scooter and it needs its 3rd motor in less than 2 years! I will not be spending $600 on another golden technologies motor that will only last a year. Go with another manufacturer because they use more durable parts for less money!

I really like this for getting around on the lawn. I doubt I would be able to get the parts into the car to take anywhere. Batteries are very heavy and so is frame. Easy to drive and comes apart easily.

Very slow, not much difference between turtle and fast. One green light goes out after 4 blocks on a full charge. By the time I return home both green lights are out. Called Golden Rech, said this was normal??
