CPHQ Study Guide 2025-2026: Complete Review + 560 Questions and Detailed Answer Explanations for the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality Exam (4 Full-Length Exams)

This was a really good book for me to be able to use for my test. I do give this book company an A+. I have been struggling with my studies till I got this book and it helped a lot.

Fantastic information

The book is ok at a high level review. I read the sections and combined with many years of experience passed the test though I think my experience accounted for 80% of the knowledge content. And being a six sigma black belt helps because that goes so much farther in knowledge depth in quality understanding.

This book starts out by providing a good overview of quality improvement programs, change management, patient safety, etc. but some of the answers were wrong, which wasn't helpful at all and made me lose confidence in the material. For example, see page 200, Test 2, question 5; page 205, Test 2, question 18; or page 206, Test 2, question 23 where HIPAA is written incorrectly as HIPPA. Also, see page 222, Test 2, Question 87 for the typo which makes you miss the right answer or page 231, Test 2, question 123 where the question in the test is different from the one in the answer key. There's also page 275, Test 3, question 33 with a typo that leads you to answer incorrectly. I did pass the exam but I don't think this practice book helped all that much. The questions focused on the wrong items.

This book is quite honestly terrible. Comparing this to official resources via NAHQ, this book is does not prepare you for your CPHQ exam. Avoid. Do not waste your money as I have. Mometrix is significantly better by magnitudes

This workbook has been a great help in my new job and helped me future my knowledge of what is needed from me

I passed but this book was not overly helpful. Many duplicate questions and obvious answers. The real test is much harder.
