Nurturing self care!
This book provides such insightful ways to nurture oneself. Yes the requirement of props is extensive, however it required to be able to be in the supportive nature of many of the poses offered here. This book is more of a personal practice book or for use with a private client & in the use for therapeutics. To offer something of this nature, one would charge more due to the extensive set up & requirement of props.Her instructions are precise, the pictures display a wonderful reference of the general direction of the pose. I have found many of these poses to be very restoring & relaxing. I can honestly say, I haven't followed any of the sequences in the back, I will typically use a pose in the book to add to my home practice.

Restorative Yoga photos
This book is exactly what I was looking for. Restorative yoga poses with photos, easy descriptions, and list of props. Perfect for the teacher or self starter student.

Not All Poses are Safe.
I am a certified restorative teacher. I have other books by Judith Lasater and wanted new material. I like the book for teaching private students and will use it 1 to 1. I was disappointed in the fact I can't do poses 6-13 because if you have spondylosis, spondylothesis, disc, sciatica, or disk problems these poses are not recommended. However, I will use them with my student's who do not have this issue. Thanks Judith.

Very nice Helpfulness: I was looking for more in-depth study ...
What to expect? Book is primirily photos of the postures.What you need? There are a lot of props required not sure it’s accessible to most though the postures can be done with less.Level: IntermediateDepth: Not a lot of readingLayout: Very niceHelpfulness: I was looking for more in-depth study of restorative yoga. This is a game-changer for teaching yoga!
I love this book and it is changing the way I teach yoga. Yoga students of all levels appreciate and need time "restore and rebalance" in their practice.Judith Lasater is one of the finest teachers on the planet! She knows and understands both the body and mind on an intellectual level as well as a heartfelt spiritual level and the integration is subtle yet powerful. Each pose provides benefits, practice with care ("Avoid this if..."), "For Teachers..." and more. There are many photos, too.

An incredible book
I love this book so much, I learn a lot about restorative yoga and Judith Lasater is just the best in this field.You need to have a lot of props, and patience to read all the steps, but when you do so, the experience is incredible, your nervous system will thank you! :)

J'ai suis 100% satisfaite, Judith Hanson Lasater prend le temps de décrire chaque posture, ses bénéfices, comment entrer dedans, quels supports utilisés. Il y a également des textes pour les enseignants pour guider les élèves dans chaque posture. Et à la fin différences séances sont proposées selon des thématiques! Un must-have dont je suis très satisfaite!

No! Troppi props. La stanza diventa un bazar. Passa la voglia di fare yoga. Ci vuole troppo tempo per preparare e mettere in ordine tutti i props proposti. Diventa stressante.
