I had not used toe protectors before but thought I should as my big toe is beginning to rub against another and I thought it may help to keep it from causing skin irritations.What I liked about this design is that the protectors do not connect to the other toes and slip on to only one toe. It is also comfortable to wear, are easily adjustable and have little vents so your toes don’t sweat.I also like that I can wear shoes over the product so I have constant protection rather than only barefoot around the house. And they are also see-through so they are not obvious when wearing sandals.I haven’t seen too much improvement in my big toe yet but I am hoping with usage, it will happen.The nice thing about this item is that they give you 10 pieces, which is quite a few. And you can wash and reuse them.The item is made of a soft silicone material that has no smell. They are definitely comfortable to wear and I even forget I have them on (this is the same if you are wearing shoes or not).At $9.99 for 10, you are basically paying $1.00 apiece, which is a good price.

These 10 toe separators arrived fused together in a solid lump of clear silicone gel. I attempted to separate them from each other but several tore as I was peeling them off the main clump. Others were impossible to pry open at the bottom. When I finally got one that would stretch over my toe it seemed to provide very little in the way of protection, but managed to pick up a huge amount of fuzz, dust, and hair in the process since they are sticky-tacky on the outside. A good old plaster would work better on a sore spot than these. Not as expected, and nothing that can be effectively be used. Recommendation: avoid!
