DK Eyewitness New England (Travel Guide)

New England is Beautiful and this book does a good job giving a general overview while showing some of the nicest places to go. Can’t really go wrong with any of their guides if you are looking for the basics. They don’t really give a deep dive but it’s a very helpful tool for planning your trip.

I usually like Eyewitness Travel Guides since the photos provide a good overview of places to see. Unfortunately, I noticed at least two photos that were clearly incorrect which makes me question other photos in the book. For example, there is a picture that is supposed to be of Fenway Park (p. 140). Instead, it is a photo of JetBlue Park at Fenway South in Florida. There are also pictures of the interior of two different trams: one that is supposed to be in New Haven (p. 237) the other in Windsor (p.248). But both photos are of the same tram.

As usual DK Eyewitness is the best guide book! Focuses on attractions and essential places to visit. Really fantastic with lots of helpful photos. Great book for someone wanting an over view and who likes visuals.

Informative , very helpful on a recent trip to the states . Well worth the money .

Plenty of photographs and reviews of all the important places to visit along with sensible maps.
