Maverick 4K Netflix & Google Certified Android TV Box with Google Assistant - 4K Ultra HD Resolution & Dolby Audio

The hardware of the Maverick is pretty nice. It is operator tier level hardware, with robust heatsinks on both the top and bottom of the processor. The remote is pretty hefty and nice. It has lpddr4 ram. It does use the s905x2, so no hardware av1 support. Otherwise I like it. I've had the device for several months and there have been no firmware updates yet. Hopefully there will be one eventually.

Bought one. It doesn't go past the load screen. Tried manual rest, unplugged for 10 minutes tries again. Nothing. Exchanged for a new one. SAME THING! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

I have tried several media players and the Mediabox I really liked as the controls are simple and streaming was steady. Problem is after a few months now the remote control is randomly creating two or three stepsfor every button press so very difficult to select anything. Using Google I found there are many other complaints about this problem and customer servicer at Mediabox manufacturer is non-existant. Do notrecommend this unit unless remote is improved.

i was delighted to see mediabox finally in the US. it has been my go-to tv box back in South Africa for over 5 years. it works brilliantly for apple tv, netflix, disney+, prime and every other internet tv i've ever wanted. A fantastic device at a great price point!

The Hulunapp sucks. Good news! Disney boyght them sonuse the Disn app.
