These are not the knives you are looking for...
A company that cares about you and your money, but not their product. Mine turned up with at least 3 major flaws where only one of them should of been enough for the knife to be flagged up as flawed by their apparent "stringent quality control processes" as described on their website. And when I complained I was told to throw away the knife and I could have a replacement or refund. Which is great but surely that means these knives are worth no where near £120+??When you spend that sort of money on a knife, you expect some love to be put into it by a master craftsman. This is clearly not the case with this product. The care and attention comes after sales to avoid negative reviews when it should be put into the production process. Flawed business model. Avoid.

WOW
So I run a pub restaurant and decided that after 30 years its time for new knives. I wanted something that I believe will last so I treated myself to 11 of the comfort pro range. No they aren't that cheap but nor are they ridiculous like global for instance. I have tested each knife that I have purchased and can only say the experience was a pleasure. Very well balanced across the range strong with weight behind them. They arrived well protected in there presentation boxes with a few rules of do's and don'ts if this is kept to I believe they are knives for life. As a trained chef I can definitely recommend and of these knives. The lads that work for me are already sniffing around asking to use them. Well done Zelite

Very sharp - Good quality
Overall this is my first "proper" knife since moving out. Having previously used 20 year old blades with an occasional sharpening I said to myself that a real chef knife would be one of my first purchases once I live on my own.The blade arrived in a nice presentation box and even had a little note inside that the company is run by a family and they can solve any issues with the order. Cute! The box is too large to put in the kitchen drawer and it does not come with a sheathe, only a plastic tip to go on the tip of the knife. Instead I have opted to stick the knife on a magentic rack to prevent it from dulling in a drawer. The blade is large, thin and razor sharp. The weight seems to be mainly over the handle hilt and personally, I prefer a heaivier knife. So far this has cut through pretty much everything I have thorwn it against. The only area it struggled was when trying to trim some fat/skin off a pork shoulder (although this might not have been the blade that I should be using for said situation). So far I have only sharpened it once in the 5 months of ownership and it holds its edge well.Price wise at around £40 - £50 it offers a good entry point for those in the market for their first or a new knife of great quality.

Super Looking, Super Sharp....Super Zelite Infinity
I bought the Alpha Royal Series as I already have the Japanese version of these knives and have used them for about a year (they are still super sharp and a pleasure to use) and my mother had been going on about how excellent they were, so I thought I'd buy them as a gift. I was however curious to know if there was any difference in quality between to two different sets so decided to use them before I gave them to my mother. The range of photographs attached show the variety of foods that was prepared using the set.Firstly, the Knives arrived in quality packaging. I was particularly impressed, once opened, with the pouch that the knives were in, the pouch is a great addition as it now gives you the option of storing the knives in a draw if you are unable to have them on show, they also provide good protection to the blades. The knives themselves are super sharp and you need to be extra careful when you first use them and remove them from the pouch. I cut my finger despite expecting them to be this sharp from prior experience with the Japanese versions! The knives look very classy both individually and as a set and would look great in any type of kitchen. They are very well balanced and easy to use and don't feel overly heavy in the hand. They sliced through whatever food was being prepared with ease and all done their jobs with extreme ease. These are on a par with Zelites previous range as they continue to produce outstanding quality knives whether for the occasional chef or the more hard-core ones. Either way they are a definite plus for any kitchen and I can't recommend them highly enough. Now the big question for me….. "Do I keep these and give mother my Japanese ones"!! I don't think I would notice the difference either way!!

OUTSTANDING, you could shave with it!
AMAZING KNIFE. I did my research on Japanese Kitchen Knives and this was in my top 3. After much thought I went with this one. And was NOT DISAPPOINTED. It arrived on time (as expected from Amazon's great service), the presentation box is slick. The knife itself is everything I was expecting and more. The craftsmanship is spectacular, well balanced and it has some weight, which is what I was looking for. The Tempered blade looks the part and is a work of Art in itself. The Handle is comfortable and well shaped making it easy for prolonged use in the kitchen.Out of the box, the blade arrived RAZOR SHARP, I'm not kidding, you could shave with it. I actually cut my thumb on the rear end of the blade near the handle by just scraping it!!! I'm fanatical about keeping my blades sharp and use a 3000 / 8000 whetstone. No need for that right now, couldn't get it sharper if I tried.Slices everything like hot steel through butter, comfortable and easy to wield, great for speed chopping as well as more delicate slicing and shaping.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... As with most things, it's worth the extra few pounds for real quality. This knife will last a long time (I hope) and is already a valued asset in my kitchen.
