A top quality book, initial D is amazing and I wish I had an AE86...

Great care has been taken with this publishing. The book is a nice size with a good feeling cover. The page quality is good and the double spreads have a gutter down the middle to avoid distortion of the image, happens with some other publishers. The translators notes pages are very extensive, covering honorifics to slang to simply filling in the less car knowledgeable information about the cars and brand names seen. There are some glossy colour pages at the front of the book. All this provides the best possible way to read this new revised English translation of Initial D.Of course the content of Initial D itself is excellent. The nostalgic vibes of the setting, young characters and classic JDM cars is perfect. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in any of that.Overall very happy.

Initial D was one of my first Manga although I confess I could only find up to volume 3 back then. When I learned that Omnibus’ were due to be released I was excited since it would give me a chance to collect the series properly.This omnibus features a new translation but of course the classic tale of racing that helped start the craze in Japan. The art work is so detailed and suits the story well. Of course it does have a bit of an older vibe to it but I am glad they haven’t tried to update this. The story is easy to follow and engaging as well. I will definitely be adding a physical copy to my shelves in the future and highly recommend to fans new and old.

Said it was Action packed, deep story, and he really enjoyed it.

The crisp print quality on heavy-duty paper stock makes the intense, high-stakes downhill racing panels pop.Whether you have been obsessed with JDM cars and the classic Eurobeat anime soundtrack for decades or you are completely new to the street racing scene, this omnibus is a stellar investment. The pacing of the manga gives you a much deeper appreciation for the technical driving physics and meticulous mechanical setups than the animated adaptations can fully explore. It includes fantastic translator notes at the back to break down cultural context, and the spine looks incredible sitting on a bookshelf. This is a flawless, five-star revival of an absolute cultural phenomenon, and I cannot wait to collect the rest of the series.

Best omnibus manga of all times!

El manga llegó bien empacado, el embajale pudo ser mejor pero llegó bien, ahora, el manga llegó con las esquinas dobladas, lomo golpeado entre otros detalles similares, eso me da a entender que el problema no fue el embalaje, sino el producto desde bodega ya estaba dañado.Si no te molestan estos detalles, dale sin miedo, pero si eres un coleccionista de mangas y te gusta recibir tus productos sin golpes, rayaduras o detalles, no te lo recomiendo.
